The maximum length of item descriptions was changed from a higher number to a lower number of 50 characters (including spaces I believe) sometime back.

I believe the reason you are seeing this is because the descriptions for those items is now too long.

You'll likely need to get your clan watcher or another imm involved, and your clan will need to rewrite the now too long descriptions.
