EXPLAINED: Falme gates not locking

We've now had 6+ instances of pk moving into Falme and the gate just doesn't lock - can this please be looked at?

Multiple opponents in the city being hit by mobs and..nothing. Opponents fighting at the gate itself and.. nothing.

Falme is not a justice city as you know them and it doesn't lock the way justice cities do. However, we have removed the fleeable jump exit and will be making those consistent. If you know of any existing jump exits with a flee we'll be aiming to: make the command the same, e.g.

jump / jump out and having the requirement of being disengaged.

The Gatekeep room in Bearlon lets you drop down/flee-down.

Also I think I've fled out of Fal Dara jump exit.
To be fair - I think Fal Dara jump exit flee is balanced because it's a pretty rough city.

TV still doesn't have a jump exit, or does it?

Just had a couple diff people ask me about this

I really don’t know falme much but two told me that gate locking etc worked fine until 2-3 months ago

Fal Dara's jump flee was removed a while ago.
One side effect of this change I would like to point out is that it now means seanchan that flip baerlon need pick in order to get their horses out, as the seanchan gatekeeper wont open up the gate if you have an andor warrant (which the mobs there will aggro and then warrant). before, the two inconsistancies balanced each other out because you could lead your horse and get out that way

The only reason Seanchan callmob ever worked was because you were switched to human and your callmob flag started working. Turns out the Seanchan callmob flag is broken and always has been. Aureus tells me he will submit a fix to Flash, but when that will come into action is unknown.

Is there any chance of the gates just being made to lock at all hours? it is a contested city held by an invading army..

SS can call the gates

It would make a lot more sense than the city just being..broken
