Equipment disappears after dropping link in General?

-I was fighting shinji for a while in ef. Anyway he got tired of trying to finish me I guess and I needed to rent so I just dropped link. When I logged back on a few hours later my equipment was gone. Is this expected?

Emond's Field Barracks
A wooden archway built on a river stone foundation forms the entrance to a
large building which appears to be used as a barracks for the Red Eagles,
as well as to house any foreign dignitaries and their retinues as they
conduct business in the Two Rivers. A glimpse down a corridor and through a
doorway reveals a dorm containing beds, with huge trunks sitting at their
feet, a place for the occupants to store their belongings.

Manetheren War Office
This chamber is a prime example of military chaotic efficiency. Several
tables stand in the room, each with its own purpose. A table in the corner
bears refreshments, while against the wall a desk stands at the ready for
any missives to be written. A chandelier bearing many mirrored candles hangs
above a massive table which is covered with maps in various sizes, showing
troop deployments and supply- and messenger lines.

Ah I didn't consider that, I forgot there was an actual game mechanic that could leave you naked and not dead.

you have to post when you relogged in too...

If you relogged with full hps then you were killed LD but the game reset so you end up in room you died instead of circle. If you dropped link with a wimpy set this is probably what happened, you flee 1s and get killed or died in one bash at the general...

No log on that one, I logged back on on my phone unfortunately. But yes I was in the same room I dropped link in full and naked. Assumed it was something weird because my tps didnt change.

There is a low % chance that you lose your eq on LD rent.

Nobody knows what causes it but there is a few posts in this subforum that describe it happening.

Had it happen a few months back with full obsid staff set. It sucks

Shinji is a douche bag. What happened to you is similar to what alot of players did to abuse TPs. You didn’t lose any if you can check that.
