I believe all rank 3+ remorts are tagged it so they can use some of the pre existing darkfriend system In place.

No idea what would cause this tbh. It's not whatever Nog says as that A: doesn't exist afaik, and B: the thing closest to it doesn't apply to the mob, and C: nor to Byrg.

This is part of the "k <clan>" code Itesh added. "chosen" is shorthand for "fade or dreadlord" in this context. It has nothing to do with the Chosen clan flag, and is not tied to any in-game abilities the fade or dreadlord may have.

It's frankly a bit odd, but not a bug.
