FIXED: Dynamic event mob

I thought they had been changed so if the play was engaged they would drop the item...

This small cottage appears to be the home of a poor vagabond with little
in the way of possesions. The rooms only contents are a rickety table and
chair, a cot strung in one corner and an old tin washbasin. Into the
unplastered west wall of the room is a small fireplace so full of ashes it
must not have been cleaned out in ages. A small glassless window gazes out
north over a wide gully to the rolling plains beyond. An opening to the east
leads outside this hovel.

Like Mhaliah said at the start, they were supposed to have been changed to drop stuff, according to https://forums.wotmud.info/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14024 at least. Although that post looks to have been a different dynamic event, so maybe the fix wasn’t applied everywhere.

"They" weren't. I have nfc which mobs are tied to dynamic events. There is no imm level info of which mobs are tied to dynamic events and even if there was, chances are that would be gone to any number of forum crashes. Unless doing those dynamic events is in the fixing imm's recent memory, it's a one off fix of the thing that gets reported.

Ely, wrecking people's level of immortal expectations one post at a time. :P

You literally fixed this same kind of bug for me at the Maradon one on my FC. Can't all of these mobs just drop the quest item? This fixes the engagement bug, and it fixes them wandering off because they wander and not having you in their room to give it to bug.

Ah it's someone other than this guy? Nod. Can't imagine it is very easy hunting them all down, for sure. But maybe one by one.
