EXPLAINED/UPDATED: Staves Weapon Guild

I've noticed an issue with the staves crafting guild that I wanted to bring to someone's attention. I'm not positive it's a bug, but it seems off to me and I think it deserves to be looked at. I've been a member of the guild for a while now and I've been tracking the result of each attempt I've made. To date, I've crafted 2 sourgum staffs, 16 ironshod staffs, and zero bladed feather staffs. I've always been notoriously unlucky, but this seems excessive, even for me. Given that the crafting requirements are 17gc for the letter of rights, 125gc for 1 iron bar and 1 wooden pole (or the equivalent time spent crafting them), and 150gc to even join the guild, I've spent the equivalent of 2,706 gold crowns and have yet to craft a single usable weapon.

I'd mainly like to be sure that something better than an ironshod is technicallly even possible, and at reasonable odds, but a revamp of the guild to produce something USABLE would be great too. Sourgums are great booby prizes, but no one is ever going to be thrilled about crafting an ironshod when a stroll to TV can get you a leatherleaf with better damage (4d6 vs 4d8) and comparable OB/PB/weight for about the price of the letter-of-rights. Can we just update the crafting table to produce leatherleaf staffs instead? Also, since there are no 1-handed crafting results, maybe a low chance at crafting a yew staff or something?

Here's a log of my most recent attempt, but all it shows is the process apparently working properly. There's no way to know if anything other than sourgums and ironshod can be crafted if that's all we ever see get crafted. Hopefully something behind the scenes will shed some light on my total lack of success. Cheers!

This was indeed just bad luck, but not really unreasonable. The odds of crafting a bladed feather staff were so low (10%) that the costs did seem off relative to the investment and other options to get one, so I've improved the odds of crafting a bladed feather staff.
