Went to buy a gold ivy ring and broker stopped at ledger and failed to respond afterwards leaving me with empty pockets.

Happened to me today also.
You give her 150 crowns.
You say 'buy obsidian'
A broker stands here, selling jewelry.
A broker's aide stands here.
A jewelry broker puts some coins in a backpack.
A jewelry broker puts a ledger in a backpack.
A jewelry broker says 'What would you like to purchase?'
A jewelry broker gets a ledger from a backpack.
say buy gold
You say 'buy gold'
You say 'buy obsidian'
You sigh.
Then, because I was feeling masochistic, I did it again except this time tried not doublelining the give gold and say buy obsidian (which otherwise has worked every time):
give 150 crowns broker
You give her 150 crowns.

Obsidian pendants and gold rings are 250 crown. You only gave 150 crown - try buying something worth 150?

Although I will note I gave her a total of 300 within a tic of each other and it still didn't work after that... I'm assuming the mobol can't add easily.

Probably too late at this point but I'll remember for the future. Maybe would be good to add this to the broker's instructions though? Dunno how people would know to try it otherwise.

Mobol can't count at all.
There is no drop command, because of the potential for abuse. Try buying something that's not in stock and he will give money back.
