Fade shirt doesn't drain only contagions you if you're engaged with it.

In the past inky would only drain when you inputted commands, here I only inputted a few commands but got drained a ton.

...seems par for the course to me. I personally think there's some sort of connnection with autoflees, rounds of combat, engages, leaving the room, etc. I'll surrender on my prior suggestion that items looted after the inky are each punished - that doesn't appear to be the case.

In the log below I see 3 inky-trigger-hits and ..5 potential events causing it - new combatants, autoflees, things like that.

A Path Through the Thinning Woods

south. The giant trees of the forest line the path, and small animal trails
extend off the path through the shrubs and trees. To the south, the forest
grows more dense, as the trees grow closer together, and the shrubs become
thicker and more entangled.

Hmm maybe all the hits on you also drain you which is kind of nuts.

I guess most of the time when you loot inkies you're not also buffing a bunch of people which is why I didn't notice this before

fade shirt drains you when you are engaged in combat only. It also only contagions you when you engage in combat with it in your inventory.

Thats what happened here, just count out the double drain events.

fade shirts don't drain though, don't think they ever have, at least not for the duration of my playtime. We even went to test it to make sure. Now if it doubled up with inky I imagine we would have seen it every time a fade dies and gets looted by a human, but I can't seem to find any instances where that happens. Just looks buggy, question is if you actually get drained twice or if it was just a weird bug with inky.
