The Beaten Hide
Nothing dominates the store more than the stench of tanning hides. The
hides of many animals are hung from the rafters while they are being cured.
If the smell can be endured, it can be seen that the tanner is quite a
master of his trade. The quality of the merchandise is surprisingly high.
Towards the rear of the store a counter lies hidden under a pile of lion
hides and a small sign can be seen resting on top of it.
