Mitsuo Fyodorovni, Master of the House of Merchants of the illustrious Kandori Merchant Guild, sat at his desk idly puffing on his pipe.
With the exception of his hair, few things escaped the man. He was blessed with a mind for numbers, and they always seemed to reveal their secrets to him. He lazily stroked his forked beard as he looked over the latest financial reports.
Florry entered his office in a flurry of movement and a slurry of words.
"We have a problem," she stated matter of factly, looking down at Mitsuo.
The older merchant did not even look up. He simply raised an eyebrow.
"We always have a problem," he murmured. "What is the new problem?"
Florry glared down at him for a moment before speaking.
"Our trade lines have stopped."
As the final word left her lips, Mitsuo sat upright and began to rise from his chair, accidentally knocking over a glass of fine brandy in his haste. He cursed quietly and scrambled to rescue the papers scattered across his desk.
With a sigh, he finally stood, papers in hand, and looked toward the cold, murderous woman standing before him.
"I think you need to start at the beginning."

"So, this Merchant Lord in the Great Forest purchased land that our trade lines pass through and is now holding us hostage?" Mitsuo asked while staring into the fire, a glass in hand.
Florry could only nod, so furious was she at the situation.
"Name?" the aging merchant asked.
"Doc the Bee," Florry replied quietly.
Mitsuo turned his head slowly and stared at her.
"What? Surely you are joking. Doc the Bee? How does one earn such a name? And how have I never heard of him?"
"Apparently he likes yellow," Florry replied with a completely straight face.
Mitsuo nearly choked on his brandy as he sat straighter in his chair.
"That is the reason?"
"That is what -they- say."
Mitsuo stared at the fire for a long moment, trying to understand the logic behind the name.
"And who is -they-?"
"The peasantry. They are the ones who started calling him that."
Mitsuo slowly shook his head.
"The peasants have a fascinating way of naming things."
Florry allowed herself a small smile before continuing.
"Regardless of the name, the problem remains. He controls the land our trade routes pass through, and he is refusing us access."
Mitsuo sighed.
"And where does this Lord Bee hail from?"
"Illian."
"Well, surely that's the reason for Bee."
Florry smiled openly.
"He likes yellow."
Mitsuo leaned back in his chair, looking deeply troubled.
"So a man from Illian, with the title of Merchant Lord, has taken control of our trade routes and calls himself Doc the Bee because he likes yellow."
"That appears to be the situation."
Mitsuo could only shake his head in silent frustration.
"Gather as many members of the guild as you can. I want you all to go and speak with this man, this Lord Bee, and find out why he has taken it upon himself to interfere with our trade lines."
He paused for a moment.
"And Florry?"
"Yes?"
"If he is wearing yellow, I want to know why."
Mitsuo finished the last of his brandy.
==============================================================================================================================
This will begin with the Kandori Merchant Guild and slowly expand into the rest of the world. Stay tuned and keep up with what is happening.
This event will introduce several new things and will lead directly into a new way of smobbing, assuming we can make it work. There will also be an exclusive reward at the end of this event.
I will be a little more demanding with this one, however. Those who wish to earn the reward should expect to be heavily involved and remain in character throughout the event.
The event begins with KMG on 6/27/26 at 8 PM Eastern US time.
See you then, merchants.
