Due to excessive amounts of gold being put into the game over the past two weeks, I'm going to cancel the auction.
This has two reasons:
-the higher a price an item fetches, the longer it takes for each item's bidding to be concluded. With the amount of gold going around right now, it's going to take that much longer. The longer it takes, the worse my headache is afterwards (literally, I'm usually incapable of anything fun the day after an auction).
-there are people who dedicate themselves to making money the whole year through so they can bid at this. They will be completely outdone by people farming mobs for a few days. That is not fair, especially to those who just happen to be incapable of logging on during this timeframe.
So in order to save myself the literal headache and keep a level and fair playing field for players, I'm cancelling the whole thing.
