Background:
Born on a farm out it the middle of nowhere, she was raised to the tough life of a subsistance farmer. They grew enough food, but with no Lord or taxes, they were able to keep what they grew. She was no stranger to hard work to be sure. Or to defending the homestead, which she did one early afternoon when the farm was "invaded" by Aiel.
One Aiel to be precise but she grabbed the nearest long farm implement and confronted the woman. Fortuantely she seemed both amused and impressed that the "wetlander" was standing up to her. Rather than blows they exchanged words. Wynoa, as she called herself, was looking for Tar Valon to present herself to the Tower there. After a long talk with her, she decided she'd had enough of farm life and accompanied the "savage" to Tar Valon and the White Tower.
Once they found themselves there, Wynnoa was inducted into the Tower as she had hoped, planned even perhaps. Though she asked to be tested, she was told she hand no apptitude for the One Power, and left to her own devices. She took to hanging around the practice yards, picking up a hodge podged of skills by mimicking the lessons.
Though many of those being trained tried to run her off by various means, she kept at it showing her determination and will to succeed. Over the years, she learned even as her friendship with Wynoa continued to grow. Not long after Wynoa was raised to teh Brown Ajah, she managed to get inducted into thw Gaidin and beocme her friend's Warder.
Now many years have passed and she returns to the Shining Walls of Tar Valon and the White Tower, alone and weary. And charged to deliver a missive to the Amyrlin...
