Background:
A commoner who was born and raised in Murandy to stablehands, Glynn comes from a long line of Malkieri gardeners on his mother's side. His parents met when his father rode north for adventure, took advantage of his mother, and begrudgingly took her back home to Hinderstap. He felt out of place growing up, except when visiting his grandparents. At 12, Glynn ran away from home, learned of the fall of Malkier and his grandparents' death. He has been estranged from his parents since and is not aware of what transpired in his hometown, as he actively avoids any story or conversation that has anything to do with it. After leaving home, Glynn worked for Wisdoms in Whitebridge before joining up with the Foresters. Glynn often has his head in the clouds, and can appear to be a bit of a goof, but has a sharp, strategic mind, and is a careful planner.

Worldview, politics, etc:

Glynn has great respect for Wisdoms and Ogier, but little else. He is skeptical of nobility, military types, and other authoritarian structures, including the White Tower, though has come to trust and appreciate certain Aes Sedai and other tower members who have gained his trust. He does not typically appreciate laws that do not make sense to him, and will ignore them if they do not seem moral or sensible. Glynn is quite prejudiced against male channelers and generally considers the Dragonsworn to be a threat on par with the Seanchan
