How would one describe the early years of Fyra?
Fyra grew up in Illian learning the fish trade and spending time on the docks. She realized she could channel when weird things would occur around the docks while fishing, and she knew it meant something. Her mother recognized the need to seek Aes Sedai in Tar Valon.
Sailing north on a river boat from Illian, she arrived in Whitebridge where a wilder named Selaana taught her a little and opened her up to the Source. Fishing in the river around Whitebridge, she earned enough coin to continue on to Tar Valon where Aria Sedai of the Yellow Ajah inducted her into the Tower as a Novice.
