Personality Traits
At times feisty, and at other times exceedingly patient. She loves a good conversation over a pint in a pub after her shows. She's quick to laugh, but equally as quick to temper.
Background:
Living outside the city walls of Cairhien was mostly peaceful for young Alyse and her family. Her father, a sought-after blacksmith would receive work orders from all over the world. Her brother Mondre would follow in his footsteps, and is now considered one of the most talented blacksmiths in Tarabon.
Her mother, an herbalist, kept a tidy garden and apothecary that was well-suited for Alyse's early curiosities about how plants and elements mix together, as well as their healing properties. One day, when exploring the world in search of rare herbs for her mother, she ran across a roguish group of scoundrels who discovered that her skills as a healer were sorely needed after their exploits. They introduced her to their firework skills, and before long the seeds of a clan began.
Her first marriage produced two great children, Saraki and Aludra, who followed in their parents' footsteps to become Illuminators. Her second marriage to Cidwes Barocam would be a wonderful pillar of support for her adventures. Now a member of the Illuminator High Council, she splits her time between putting on shows and lecturing new recruits on how to avoid setting the Chaptherhouse on fire like her good friend Vayus was rumored to have done.
