Summary: Elmitsu and Aleera give Helen a tour of the newly remodeled White Tower. They visit Sheriam's study, each of the seven Ajah wings, the Kitchen's, Mistress of Logistics office, Tar Valon's Central Square, and the Warder's Practice Yard. They discuss their desired Ajahs, crack jokes, and bond as friends.

Elmitsu takes the hall at a measured pace so that Helen might acclimate herself. The three Accepted make their way to the Mistress of Novice’s room.

Outside of Sheriam’s Study
The muffled cry of a novice getting switched causes Helen to flinch in empathy. Poor girl.

Elmitsu whacks the roster audibly so that it 'bangs' against the wall.

Aleera can be heard having a snack.

Elmitsu says 'We are here outside of Sheriam Sedai's study, where the roster
explains where Accepted can visit for lessons and tasks.'

Helen examines the roster closely, seeing nothing.

Elmitsu says 'In the Blue wing, you will need to ask Rafela Sedai to 'issue accepted quest.' So too Verin in the Brown, Yukiri in the Gray, Kiruna in the Green, Pevara in the Red, Romanda in the Yellow, and Seaine in the White.'

Aleera says, "It might be Saerin for the Brown, in their regular wing, versus Verin up above the library in their old wing. Or, at least, it is definitely Saerin for the second round of proving."

Aleera mumbles about updating the roster board.

Elmitsu says 'But I suppose it would not matter much to you if they updated the
Roster, hmm?'

Helen’s grin light’s up the room. “No, I suppose it wouldn’t.”

Elmitsu opens a door.

The Mistress of Novices' Study
Fortunately, for all of Helen’s good humor, she’s not known this place to be a painful one. It has instead been a nice place to learn weaves and practice her abilities.

Elmitsu bends the knee in deference for Sheriam.

Helen, sensing Elmitsu’s curtsy, does the same.

Aleera's shoulders tighten as she looks to, and curtsy, to Sheriam Sedai.

Elmitsu says 'Light keep you, Sheriam Sedai. I wish to reacquaint you with Accepted Helen.'

Helen whispers to Elmitsu, "Thankfully I've not had to meet her too too often."

Elmitsu opens a door.

The gang leaves Sheriam’s study.

Elmitsu says 'Now let us visit each of the Ajah wings?'

Helen says 'That would be most beneficial to me'

Helen says 'Amazing how they can remodel the Tower given its construction'

Elmitsu thumps the roster again; it rattles.

The gang travels to the Blue Wing first.

Elmitsu says 'Here we are at the entrance to the Blue wing.'

Helen nods in agreement.

Helen feels Elmitsu gesture in some manner and then feels another’s hand shoved into her own.

Elmitsu says 'She will help you understand which weaves to study for the Test of 100 weaves.'

Helen says 'Impressive'

Another Room In the Blue Wing

Elmitsu opens a door and leads the party through it, closing it behind her.

Helen joins Elmitsu in a smooth curtsey.

Elmitsu smiles sweetly, "Light keep you, Rafela Sedai."

Elmitsu says 'Typically, the Aes Sedai who will provide tasks are located just off the Ajah's primary study.'

Helen nods in agreement.

Elmitsu continues leading Helen, guiding her hand to the knob of the Blue Conservatory and into the room.

Elmitsu says 'Anaiya Sedai, have you met Helen?'

Elmitsu curtseys seamlessly as she makes this introduction. Helen does the same.

Helen says 'It's been some time, but we have met'

Elmitsu whispers something to Anaiya Sedai.

Aleera shares, "If some merits have been awarded while you are away you can receive them from Aes Sedai in their respective wings."

Elmitsu confirms this information.

Elmitsu says 'These Aes Sedai usually spend time with their Sisters in their respective Ajah studies or dens.'

Helen says 'Interesting'

Helen says 'That is new to me, for sure'

The gang makes their way to the Yellow’s Wing.

Elmitsu says 'This is the Yellow wing. To the south, is their Solarium.'

Helen says 'Ah yes, I have spent time here'

Elmitsu nods decisively.

Helen says 'Some trying to see if they can indeed cure my blindness'

Helen says 'Not that I ever asked to be cured' with a frown.

Elmitsu says 'But you are already perfect!'

Helen smiles agreeingly.

Helen next finds herself in…

Elmitsu says 'Here is the Green wing.'

Elmitsu whispers as if she were on stage, likely reaching even further than she'd meant to, "Alanna Sedai has some of my favorite fashions in the Tower!"

Helen is led to the Wing of the Ajah she hopes to join one day.

Elmitsu says 'The Grays caucus to the west from here.'

Helen says 'I find the Gray Ajah to be most interesting to me'

Elmitsu rounds on Helen as she continues her tour, "Oh? You should certainly speak to Chloro Sedai soon then. I am sure she will be eager to meet you."

Helen says 'That's a name I recognize, though I haven't seen her in some time'

They head next to…

Elmitsu takes care about her whispers in the Red wing, "Here is the Den of the Red."

Helen 's volume does not match Elmitsu’s, "I've met some of the Reds before. Nice lot, in my experience."

The gang leaves for another wing.

Elmitsu says 'Here, the Whites infer their theorems.'

Helen says 'I never understood the White Ajah'

Elmitsu says 'I like Raeza Sedai, but I have not seen her in a long time.'

Elmitsu says 'I think we lost Aleera.'

The party exits the Wing of the White Ajah.

Elmitsu can be heard tussling with somebody who can’t help but giggle.

Elmitsu says 'Aleera is growing bored of me!'

Aleera eeps.

Elmitsu wails plaintively, nearly collapsing upon her sister Accepted.

Helen says 'Oh, I'm sorry, it must be my fault'

Helen sniffs sadly. *SNIFF*

Aleera says 'I am sure that is literally impossible.'

Elmitsu says 'We are almost done! I saved Aleera's domain for last.'

The party climbs an unnecessarily high staircase.

Elmitsu puffs a little upon ascending the stair.

And finally,

Elmitsu says 'The Brown are up here.'

Helen says 'Ah, i recognize this smell anywhere'

Helen says 'Books, dusty tomes, and old things'

Elmitsu's giggle is quite unbidden and voluble.

Elmitsu says 'But now I am hungry!'

Elmitsu, Aleera, and Helen head to the kitchens.

Elmitsu opens the pantry and prepares the ingredients for a dinner.

Elmitsu begins preparing the dish.

Helen says 'So you intend upon the Brown, is that so Aleera?'

The smell of cookery fills the area.

Elmitsu finishes making the dish.

Elmitsu scarfs down her plate of food.

The smell of cookery fills the area.

Aleera says, "I am apprenticing with Aelrena Sedai, yes. I hope to eventually join them."

Helen says 'Oooh, I hope you achieve your goals swiftly'

Aleera adds, "I had been torn between them, the Gray, and the Blue. Chloro Sedai helped me ... work through that."

Helen says 'Oh? She turned you away from the Gray or you find yourself turned away'

Aleera answers, "Oh no, she didn't turn me away. She just helped me understand what was most important to me."

Helen says 'Oh, that's wonderful'

Helen says 'I hope to figure out what's most important to me some day too'

Elmitsu sighs, perhaps in exasperation, "It can take a while."

“The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills” says Helen, offering comfort to Elmitsu as best she can.

After dinner the three make a quick stop at…

Elmitsu says 'This is the Mistress of Logistic’s Office. Eliyana Sedai will help you if you ever find hte larder empty.'

A rustling can be heard and Elmitsu quickly drags Helen out of the room.

The party makes their way to Tar Valon’s central square, where the sound of a bubbling fountain and passing horses fills the Blind Accepted’s ears.

Someone1 approaches, a horse clip-clopping behind and says 'Any of you may have this fine steed. May it serve you well.'

Elmitsu says 'Light keep you, sir. Welcome to Tar Valon.'

Someone1 can be heard leaving north.

Elmitsu says 'What a sweet fellow.'

Elmitsu murmurs appreciatively, "And that beard."

Helen says 'My pa had a beard, it was quite itchy'

Helen shivers uncomfortably.

Helen says 'I was quite happy when he shaved it'

Elmitsu says 'A little beard can be . . . nice.'

Helen says 'I see. I'll keep an eye out for a beard you can have'

Helen offers a devious smile.

Aleera doesn't offer a for or against beards, just a small meh.

Elmitsu says 'Do you have other questions we can help with, Helen?'

Helen says 'I do believe you've answered most of them quite thoroughly'

Helen says 'Only thing left for me to do is get my rank restored and finish earning some merits towards my next rank'

Aleera says, "I think each of the Ajah tasks awards 4 merits in total, some being broken into parts that award 2."

Helen says 'I have 53 currently, perhaps I can get those merits before too long'

Elmitsu says 'You can no longer claim the rank of Tower Accepted without an apprenticeship.'

Helen says 'Oh, is that so'

Helen says 'Then I may need to find a mentor before too long then, huh'

Elmitsu says 'I believe that is the case, though perhaps the rule is not hard and fast? Do you know much of it, Aleera?'

Aleera says, "I think there is a little flexibility, especially if your Ajah of interest has all of the Aes Sedai out of the Tower."

Elmitsu nods in agreement.

Helen says 'That's good to know'

Someone2 can be heard gliding towards the girls.

Aleera curtseys, saying, "Good day, Aelrena Sedai," to also prompt Helen.

Elmitsu bends her knee in deference to Aelrena Sedai, releasing her banded hems upon rising.

Helen follows suit.

Aelrena says 'Hello to you as well, Accepted.'

Elmitsu the Journey Accepted is standing here.

Aleera introduces Aelrena, “Aelrena Sedai is a Sitter for the Brown Ajah. We spoke of her earlier.”

Helen says 'Ah, yes. Light's blessing upon you, Aelrena Sedai'

Aelrena says 'And yourself, Accepted.'

Aelrena says 'I take that your studies are going well? All three of you?'

Aleera answers, "Thank you, yes. We were just discussing our studies before taking time to help re-orient Helen a bit."

Helen blushes with embarrassment.

Helen says 'I, uh, have been asleep for a moment or two too long. I have found that many here have forgotten my face'

Helen says 'A shame, I've heard it's a good one'

Helen nods to herself. Very reassuring.

Helen can tell her joke earned smiles and giggles from all who heard it.

Helen says 'Aleera and Elmitsu have been so very helpful'

Aelrena says 'Yes, I have heard good things about both of them. It is safe to say you’re in good hands.’

Elmitsu says 'The afternoon practically begged for a walk, and we were happy to oblige it, Aelrena Sedai, but we are near its conclusion if you have need or want of us.'

Helen confirms 'We would be happy to be of assistance, should you need us'

Aelrena chuckles politely, 'I'm afraid I have nothing I need done currently, unless you all wish to find yourselves transcribing some of the older tomes for a few hours?'

Helen says 'I can't write, unfortunately, or I would be happy to assist'

Aleera makes a sound like she’s eager, but keeps it contained.

Aelrena says 'That's okay, if you volunteer I'll make Elmitsu come as well. She's more than capable of writing for both of you, she's had ever so much practice writing.'

Helen says 'Oooh, wouldn't that be lovely'

Elmitsu says 'You are right that I have had a lot of practice.'

Helen says 'If I get the credit for Elmitsu's writing my work, well, who am I to object'

Helen nudges Elmitsu with a grin.

Elmitsu says stoicly, none of her usual sweetness in her voice 'I am soon to assist Keshara Sedai in transcribing some letters, Aelrena Sedai.'

Aelrena says 'Then I suppose I'll have to find an alternate set of Accepted or novices to do such. '

Aelrena says 'Light shine on you three, should you have need of me feel free to reach out.'

Aleera says, "Thank you, Aelrena Sedai."

Helen says 'Thank you, Aes Sedai. I shall do just that'

Elmitsu says 'Then we must be about the conclusion of our tour, Aes Sedai. The Light keep you in its grace!'

Elmitsu hustles Aleera and Helen out of the square, an arm threaded through the crook of each. They practically skip out of the square.

Aleera closes her eyes and lets out a breath, realizing how tense she'd been.

Aleera asides, "So, we can definitively confirm that she's back in the White Tower."

Elmitsu lets out a breath she did not appear to have been holding; it exits her in a susurrus once they’re far enough away. As they continue on the sound of fighting and the clanking of wood upon wood can be heard.

Elmitsu flexes her hands as if in memory, "I thought this stiffness meant rain, but I should have known it was only Aelrena Sedai."

Helen lets out a snort.

Aleera asks, "Developed another sense?"

Elmitsu says 'If you're thinking it's 'common,' you'd be surprised.'

Elmitsu erms, "Get it . . . because of sense . . . common."

The smirk on Helen's face betrays her attempt at a deadpan expression.'

Elmitsu gives up on her joke.

They approach what can only be the Warder’s Practice Yard.

Elmitsu says 'Do you remember the practice yard, Helen?'

Helen says 'I haven't spent much time here, though I hear other Accepteds and novices love to frequent it'

Helen says 'I never understood that'

Elmitsu says, a touch distractedly as she eyes the practicing Younglings, "Oh . . . there is a certain charm, I think."

Helen gestures at herself 'I find there's more charm in, well'

Helen says 'I prefer the fair softness offered by, well, not men'

Helen can feel Aleera’s cheeks burning brightly, blushing. She can also feel Elmitsu studying her intensely. Ignoring all that, she starts to daydream.

Elmitsu says 'Oh, this place is lousy with pillow-friends! So many pillows, one can hardly find a . . . bed.' She trails off.

Elmitsu says 'Well, ladies, I will take my farewells here.'

Elmitsu says 'I hope we can all spend time together again soon.'

Elmitsu grabs Helen and Aleera into a group hug.

Aleera shifts a bit uncomfortably and lets out a breath as Elmitsu shifts. She hugs her back, "See you soon."

Elmitsu says 'Light keep you until I can see to it myself!' Elmitsu can be heard taking off.

Helen turns to Aleera and says 'I hate to leave you alone, but I think I need to bed too.'

Aleera shakes that off, "No, no, it's quite okay. I'll actually probably go to help transcribe some of those books. I just didn't want to drag Elmitsu or you into it as well."

Helen says 'Many thanks. The last time I tried transcribing, well you can imagine how that went'

The two of them giggle.

Helen says 'Should you ever see me around, don't hesitate to call to me.’

Aleera adds, " I will do that."

Helen says 'Be well, Aleera. We shall meet again soon'

I am giving Helen 1 bonus RPQP for intentionally editing the log to reflect how she would individually experience the world as a blind woman. I continue to find this line of roleplay to be fascinating and well-crafted. Thank you all for sharing.
