Round 1

Before the Woods
Waters of the river cross the land to the northeast and a polished red
bridge is visible from bank to bank. The clear ground quickly becomes
dotted with trees as forests spring up to the east. Far to the west west a
gap in the trees shows a shining white wall.

steadily into a thick and aged forest. The ground becomes softer as dead
leaves and branches blanket the forest floor and paths become less direct.
Large gaps in the trees to the west and south make passage those ways much
easier than where some tracks crossing the ground lead.

This is a poor performance on my part, cannot think of many things I did well. What I would do differently is when I'm getting flustered, run a couple of rooms away, take a second, get my head straight, and then go back in to it.

Twisted Branches
Thick trees of the ancient woods twine together making odd shapes and thick
groups many trees around. The way east is completely shut by the twisted
branches. South along the forest leads up to a massive white oak tree
hulking over the rest of the forest.

What I did well: I'm starting to get the slice strategy more dialed in, stacking weaves, trading ponr, and mixing it up with slice. What I can do better: Open with flamestrike, wait a couple more beats before entering a room she started weaving in, take a sip before combat starts.
