One idea that came up while reading through this is making cities feel more alive. Would it be possible with mobol to make more mobs appear in a city the more players there are? Special things could happen if a certain threshold is reached (like in Caemlyn, the Queen comes out for a parade or someth...

How about some kind of small, one-time reward for a good description? Could be an xp boost, or a small amount of qps. Maybe an item that can be sold for a small sum of money?

To me, making a waygate respond to a noquit makes no RP sense. If I recall correctly, the ways were used in the books as an escape route from danger. **Maybe** the ways would have worked that way back when there was no taint, but the taint could have distorted any kind of protection like that. The puzzle man in Caemlyn Inner City. You have to say 'puzzle' to get him to talk, and then he explains clearly what he needs, but knowing to say puzzle isn't obvious if you haven't been around a while.

I think Aureus has a point with rent cost. I still have a fear of losing my inventory from back in the day when if you couldn't pay rent, you lost everything in inventory to compensate for that. Part of the strength of darkside is the camaraderie. Someone will almost always talk to you on darkside unless you are just the only person on. I agree with this 100%. It's what kept me mostly playing DS back in the day, and it was actually great coming back and seeing that camaraderie still there....
