But since I think that random items shouldn't interfere with established gameplay to this extent, I swapped the skin keyword with strip.

Yes, you can craft one weapon per boot. Otherwise it would be farmed into oblivion.

Looks like someone spammed the command, probably to circumvent the once-per-boot thing, causing the mob to have its hands full and presto... it breaks.

It's been a while, but I think I remember it gives that message if you try to go through the actions too fast and the mobol just can't keep up. You especially have to wait a moment between putting the ore in the oven and closing the oven.

All sign keywords were removed when shop times were changed. One command vs editing all signs one by one. Guess you know which one won.
