Re: Observations after an extended break
I also came back for a bit at first to hang out with some mates and then I got the completion bug and knocked off a few goals I had left undone. I certainly had a few people who actively tried to discourage me from playing but many more that were just awesome on both DS and LS. While numbers are cer...

That is a pretty cool feature!
Hi Everyone, I was thinking about some of the cool features in the game and I thought I would list some of the ones I really appreciate. Perhaps I can nudge you to do the same. 1) Portal stones! 2) Crafting rare weapons 3) Pouching potions 4) Dusty Tower smob triggered by a human head (and the LS ve...

Re: Retroactive punitive policies
Who gets screwed out of thousands of qps here? Also if you’re spamming the who list for me every time you log on, man I hate to disappoint you but you really are a non-factor to me every time I log on. The only place you cross my mind is here on the forums, where my and my cronies run the joint wit...

Re: Retroactive punitive policies
Thank you Vampa for providing more context around the change. I personally feel that it is a very reasonable expectation going forward and I can see people being excited to help others reach their goals. What I wonder is if it would feel better and be less work if you didn’t stop people from gaining...

Re: Retroactive punitive policies
I certainly see the frustration and perhaps it speaks to the objectives of what the mud is supposed to be. In my mind it is a place where you have many options of progression available to you pvp, pve and rp. With the underlying base that there are no or at least limited safe spaces on the mud. I pe...

Re: Retroactive punitive policies
I play mostly dark side and 95% + of my qps is from scalps or tps. I totally get the frustration people have of trying to find pk only to have people scatter into throne rooms 80% of the time, the game feels way different than 5-10 years ago….but I love the way the imms have given people choice. Thi...

Re: Retroactive punitive policies
It is not clear to me why the change is required. I appreciate the keeping of status quo with people not losing ranks but it does feel like people who prefer to acquire qps from non pk activities may see this as forcing them to pk. To be fair that is largely how the game used to be but I liked the d...
