Re: Smobbing for newbies

First, that's a great instruction guide! Not wanting to start a debate, just want to know if I missed something. You said get notice to 93, what happened to getting notice to 86? http://forums.wotmud.info/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=3698&p=26764&hilit=notice+fail#p26764 "Notice %" "Diagnose target" "max f...

Re: Clarification on policy concerning Seanchan Officers and non-clanned, non-hostile players

In the books, swearing the oaths did not change their lives very much. It didn't prevent the from trading with whomever they wanted, or travelling with people that possibly didn't swear the oaths. When they made the oaths, they just basically swore to keep a promise. A person that clans with an opp...

While I don't like the situation, it's a valid interpretation from the books as stated many times earlier. You're not an average commoner, etc, etc. If you really want to change the policy, then create a seanchan, move up the ranks, and try to influence policy.

Re: Clarification on policy concerning Seanchan Officers and non-clanned, non-hostile players

From the books, Seanchan were not murderers, on the contrary they would try to peacefully take over lands and then utilize those resources, people etc. Lol. Which WoT books did you read, because the Seanchan didn't peacefully take over lands. They were simply peaceful to those who swore and obeyed ...

Re: Clarification on policy concerning Seanchan Officers and non-clanned, non-hostile players

In a real RP world, how would they even know whether that person has sworn the oaths or not (or is willing to but hasn't been in contact with an officer or not) without a discussion? In the books, the seanchan just invaded cities in totality, THEN they told the commoners to swear the oaths. They we...

Yet another reason not to repeatedly go into a room with an FC that's able to buff the entire patrol and keep weaving you?

Re: Tail end of dusty PK

At this point in time, most if not all the skills mobs should not have, have been restricted by coding. Because of that, if a mob can do it, it's probably legit. Also, you can already make your mobs sneak without riding a shadow and can just lead an extra shadow that works for faceoff/screwing up t...

This happens when LS takes the city as well, and the mobs do not aggro each other, only assist.
