Re: Fail!
I blame Kryyg o HP:Battered MV:Full > b Within a Treacherous Clearing [ obvious exits: E D ] A bruised and bloody leg lies on the ground, torn from its socket. A necklace made of dark, tangled leaves has been discarded here. A thick, leather backpack lies abandoned here. The dismembered corpse of Mh...

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
I actually think projectiles are kind of cool to have in the game, just some of the features as they stack shown above don't really seem particularly balanced. Remove lost round if they interrupt a bash? Tweak coding so you can't just set up triggers to throw multiple/draw lag? Move them to warrior ...

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
Agreed. But equally find it frustrating that there's a setup which can have full dodge, 150 db, stab, and still go toe to toe in damage dealt, with a mechanism that interrupts bash timer, and with an autowimpy meaning they have a get-out clause if a bash does land. The ability to rewield/sheath prim...

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!
~100hp in 2 combat rounds from a full dodge char on a full abs char. I definitely don't love that projectiles are better than a zerk abs master. Second time in two days I've died to the same mechanics :( They're not here anymore! o HP:Beaten MV:Tiring > The Blight [ obvious exits: N W ] *Fermin* is ...

Re: Aspiring to better ABS?
Just to be clear I think regular abs weapons are fine and fairly balanced. My issue is compared to say a top normal medium blade to a heron med, or steel sai to dirks, rare abs weapons seem a little underwhelming based on the stats? Even aside from the lack of numbers in circulation they seem more o...

Aspiring to better ABS?
I've been active again on-and-off in 2020 after years of very limited play. There have been loads of excellent changes which are great to see. One thing that seems to be a little underwhelming still however is the state of 'aspirational' abs equipment. There seem to be two problems here. One is play...

Re: Unsolicited amazing ideas thread
Characters develop carpal tunnel syndrome from repeatedly opening and closing doors. Lose 1OB per open/close if you open/close a door more than 5 times per tic. OB loss remains until rent. Trollocs are immune.

Bash sucks. You try to blast *Ragyn*, but he parries successfully. * HP:Critical MV:Winded - Ragyn: Beaten > ] [k light] You do the best you can! * HP:Critical MV:Winded - Ragyn: Beaten > *Ragyn* scythes your right leg hard. Buggy room connections SG?
I noticed this today, and after repeating it a few times because I just thought I didn't know spams anymore, I realised it's actually some weird buggy room connection? You can run several rooms north of SG waygate, then suddenly take a room east and it transports you back to the waygate? Blighted Gr...
