Would removing 1 damage die and .5 to 1 lb in weight to certain combo weapons address to comparability to abs weapons? Seems like an easy fix if so.

Keep the interrupt, but significantly reduce the damage/allow abs to mitigate the damage. Or make them a one use only item, ie they are destroyed on a successful hit. Shops only real benefit is their ability to buy unwanted equipment, of which they do well. Beyond the occasional scalping dagger/backpack, I've never seen the need to buy anything from a standard shop load in over 20+ years.

I have a 19 19 18 that took around 1000 stats (although this is subjective because I didn't actually count how many), so it is possible, just not overly probable. I also have just under 400 hps @51, which makes me wonder if the -1 was on the con was the change but the rolls were for 19? Only rerolls...
