Re: Observations after an extended break

Some good observations. I never really stepped back to think about it, but yeah, DS mob support is insane. Why are there patrols set up at Cara ent and near Apple also while having permanent Blodfest ent in Cara. Really quite silly. I'm no conspiracy theorist but it lends some credit to whoever was ...

Re: CLIENT: Dump of mudlet related things for y'all

Had installed Mudlet fresh on a new PC. Installed the wotpack. Got the mapper working. Went to install comms window and Mudlet crashed and when I re-opened, all of my packages were gone. Reinstalled wotpack, and when I went to load the mapper it crashed again.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Re: Observations after an extended break

It ebbs and flows. I have been getting rolled also by the uber kits and rares/uniques, but whatever. In a perfect world you log in with a choice to PK and it plops you on DS or LS in a balanced fashion, but that's a pipedream. Give up on SS man. Edit: also it comes down to players being responsible ...

Re: Retroactive punitive policies

From what I've seen over the past week of trying out the game again, it seems like the people I'm seeing involved in PK on LS are the type of people who would be happy to rally around anyone impacted by this who is trying to get their scalps. I doubt I'll be any good at PK, but am happy to try and ...

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!

Can abs be assigned to cloaks or trinkets? Don't think so.. I'm sure it can, but you're never getting hit on the cloak or trinket slot, so I'm not sure it would accomplish anything. Duh, true. I was just trying to think of a slot that was not used in a high-end kit. What if we removed a rare like a...

Re: Ouch! That really did HURT!

Perhaps I just suck with it, but those dodge kits feel so awful right now against all the rares and uniques. Wish there was a way to perhaps give mid tier dodge kits like that a bit of abs while not giving high end dodge abs. Can abs be assigned to cloaks or trinkets? Don't think so..

Re: Retroactive punitive policies

Again, not that I really care (think my post got buried in the spam), and I don't feel compelled to test, but Elysia mentioned this: Suppose you have a char who is 15 scalps short of the mark, you will get a mail that you're short of the mark, you will retain your master status and all bonuses and.....

Re: Retroactive punitive policies

You can still earn PVE qps to go from rank 7 to 8, just not rank to rank 8 until you've also met the rank 8 750 PK qps (total, 250 for rank 7 and an additional 500 for rank 8) requirement. Unless you do not meet the 250 PK qps requirement for rank 7, then you have to get those PK qps before PVE qps...
