Re: Commonly Used Weapon Bash Stats
Okay, finally getting a chance to go through some of the things I noticed. Meren, could you look into these? I'm getting different numbers just from eq - just from the few I checked, with mallet I'm getting 183 ob, and with taxe I'm getting 179 ob. If it helps, I used: - Same eq - 19 14 19 stats (de...

Re: Commonly Used Weapon Bash Stats
For everyday scenarios, just about every top-end common abs weapon will be bashing abs and combo at their max value. So, when bashing abs and combo, clubs bash the best. For bashing dodgers, especially high-end dodgers, it gets more complicated, as Eol alludes to. Some of the numbers in this post ar...

2d5 would be somewhere around a 25% boost, I think. Assuming you get an average +6 damage boost to make the numbers easy, 24 average damage is on the decent end for most weapons (eaxe is 24 avg damage, for instance).Spyder wrote:2d5 = 25% dntyaknwBruce wrote:Don't drink the bong water.

Re: Projectiles
Weapon OB seems to play a role at landing rate. Thus i think it is possible to make projectiles useful without going into coding. Current projectiles weapon tiers are linear going from dung landing + dung damage to best landing + best damage. I feel like they should have two major groups: 1) low la...

Re: Projectiles
God no - absers already die easily enough, why are you trying to up something that works almost exclusively on absers? Pracs aren't super relevant (you wouldn't be investing in 99 palm/projectiles if it wasn't a better place for them than anywhere else, and you're already getting 99 backstab regardl...

Re: The success and failures of Kerryk Medakan
His last bash is at wounded, after that he tries to autowimpy out of the door. Lot of time to roll bashes there..

Re: The success and failures of Kerryk Medakan
That's the part I didn't understand about this log. You're 1v1 (or 2v1) in a door against someone that isn't rolling timers, so your only likely shot at getting out (or killing him, really) involved rolling targeted bashes and then opening the door/fleeing while he's bashed. Why not give that a few ...

Re: Can we as players generally make clanning easier?
My read of this - without knowing about any particular instances or people involved - is that creating a new system where r1-2 are the new 'applicant' stage wouldn't solve most of the problems you're talking about. Probably even worse if some clans implemented this and some clans didn't, just becaus...

Re: Wiki theory: Smobs, mini-Smobs, and City Heads
Biggest thing I always want to know that isn't listed - is there any mobol that triggers on something (especially weaves and bashes) that potential smobbers should know about? A bunch of smobs either direcly punish you for bashing or punish you for missing a bash, and I think that's important to ca...
