I just tried this and it works for me. I removed one typo, but that was for another item, so no idea really.

About 15 mins after post that, I got a somebody responding to prayer that it was fixed, and then it worked thereafter.

You are correct, I didn't mean a literal retool, more reskinned.

Technically it is not a retool it is separate piece of equipment with equivalent stats.

So if you have one and rent it doesn't change into a red robe or anything like that.

That hooded sable mantle isn't a clan trinket, it is just a retooled red robe to be used if people didn't want to RP running around in a bright red robe while being sneaky.

rewrote these. Let me know if more issues pop up. Most forseeable issue is if the trinket is classified differently and I missed it. Let me know if he returns anything here and then I'll fix that.

This includes removing the sale of 500 gold abs / parry / dodge abs kit.
