Cakes and Teas can soothe any mind, a Gray and Yellow discuss current events, and how tacky roses are.

Oval Lecture Hall
This oval lecture hall is large enough to seat a large congregation. Rows
of polished wooden benches rise up from the central floor, each row a
little higher than the previous one. A dais with an elaborately carved
chair sits before a pair of doors at the front of the hall. Wide scrollwork
runs beneath a gently domed ceiling painted with sky and white clouds.
[ obvious exits: S ]
Zone: White Tower Upper Floors
Door south: doubledoors
A young Tower Guard is on duty here.
Lady Kathala Arantes, Ra'dar is standing here.
The innkeeper bustles about, helping guests into rooms.

Kathala says 'So, are you inclined to believe our mysterious visitor?'

Chloro thinks a moment sitting near the center of the hall, strong back tea steaming from the cup in her hands. "I do not know, bandits are a problem, but as I told Sarinda. Patterns are starting to emerge."

Kathala frowns slightly, analyzing the situation.

Kathala says 'What patterns do you see, Sister?'

Chloro stands up moving to a large table with a map of the continent sprawled out. "To many to almost count now."

Kathala reaches with her neck, peering over the map.

Kathala says 'You say this goes beyond Andor?'

Chloro begins in Andor point at white bridge. "Two years ago, white Cloaks took Baerlon after a sister was suspected of murdering innocents. At the same time a Lord Gabrial somehow with no past records, made his way to Morgase's left side without any intervention.

Chloro says 'A lord also randomly appeared in Tear with similar background. This was after the dream spike was placed in the spine.'

Kathala says 'Interesting.'

Chloro says 'Then Mayene sought to break with us based on a backless accusation from a winged guard. Tear began murdering Mayene's nobles, and the south descended into chaos until we ended it.'

Kathala nibbles absentmindedly on her cake.

Kathala says 'What is your working theory?'

Chloro says 'Then there was the strange chattering rock that was found in the blight. Now, not more than a few months ago, the dark one's strongest general was given the dream spike after using the south as pawns.'

Kathala murmurs 'The world is full of ancient mysteries.'

Chloro sighs and looks Kathala directly in the eyes. "A man knowing about Andoran nobles that would not show his face to a group of Aes Sedai, and seeks us to intervene with Morgase. If Ishamael is free, who else could be walking in this world?"

Kathala says 'I would counter with that we have known the Forsaken run free for a very long time. Be'lal, the Netweaver was rampaging the world long before I was born.'

Chloro says 'This is true, but why surface now, and why Andor?'

Kathala says 'My point is, they have surfaced before and we cannot be sure that they are now involved in Andor.'

Chloro says 'This is true, however, the more concerning point, is we had no warning of things in Andor from Elaida Sedai.. '

Kathala stirs her tea, the sound echoing in the chamber.

Kathala says 'Things like bandits, or things like the supposed petitions?'

Chloro adjusts her shawl and takes a sip of her tea, "Both, the woman may be callous, stubborn and down right insane at times, but she rarely misses things that would challenge Morgase."

Kathala says 'Not unless you trample her roses.'

Kathala chuckles politely.

Kathala says 'Truth be told, I don't believe the Tower has heard from Elaide in my lifetime.'

Chloro chuckles with a bit of mirth. "I hear she may even weave them to grow at times. Such an odd proclivity."

Kathala says 'I know Cadsuane replaced her as the Amyrlin Seat, but I am oblivious to the exact circumstances.'

Chloro says 'Yes, as am I.'

Chloro says 'There has also been no chatter from the Wisdoms about this.'

Chloro says 'To many not speaking, for the nobles to find actual reason to petition us.'

Kathala says 'Wisdoms are usually well informed when it comes to the plights of the commoners.'

Chloro says 'Perhaps a yellow sister, may gain some information from them over shop talk. I hear they like cakes and pies..'

Kathala tugs at her shawl disdainfully.

Kathala says 'Wisdom business is far beneath a Yellow's skill. A true Yellow doesn't meddle with herbs like some village herb woman.'

Chloro says 'You catch more files with honey than vinegar sister. You may think of them that way, but you cannot discount their ability to gossip.'

Kathala says dryly 'They're almost as good as it as Aes Sedai.'

Chloro sniffs almost offended. "I wouldn't give them that much credit."

Kathala says 'Regardless of whether the Wisdoms know of this, do you believe the nobles truly petitioned Morgase?'

Kathala says 'One can say what you want, but she is an adept ruler. It seems unlike her to have ignored such pleas.'

Chloro says 'Before I answer, what do you make of this situation? Or your Ajah for that matter?'

Kathala says 'I have not spoken to anyone in my Ajah about this. Ashlynn was there when we met the Andoran lord and she appears to feel that the nobles should have employed their own guards.'

Kathala says 'I think we cannot make an adequate assessment until we have spoken with Morgase.'

Kathala shrugs one shoulder slightly.

Chloro says 'It seems the Grays need to make a bigger presence then, for only one sister to see the severity is shocking.'

Chloro says 'It could also be that many are dealing with private lessons for our younger ones.'

Kathala says 'Perhaps we should extend an invitation to the Browns. Having analytical minds along may be beneficial.'

Kathala says 'One cannot conduct research with foregone conclusions. You will miss the forest for the trees.'

Chloro rolls her eyes slightly. "If you can find one not huffing fumes from the bookbinders, be my guest sister."

Chloro says 'Will you be with us, on the visit to Andor?'

Kathala says 'I likely will be, yes.'

Chloro says 'What does Maddy make of this? Has she given comment?'

Kathala says 'I have not spoken with her about this at all.'

Chloro says 'She to has had Gray training. I would be interested to know what is cooking up in that mind of hers.'

Kathala says 'Have you spoken with the other Gray Sisters?'

Chloro says 'I am the only Gray in residence at current. With so many conflicts, majority are making sure there are not more.'

Kathala says 'Do they share your theory about this Lord Gaebril?'

Chloro says 'Nevirha is Andoran though, she may have some insight if I can reach her.'

Kathala frowns and nods, then pauses to finish her tea.

Chloro says 'I suppose we can conclude the meeting, perhaps our sisters will become more invested after the visit.'

Kathala says 'I suspect speaking with Morgase will not be an easy task. She is easily the most formidable politician outside the Tower. And I wager she could best some within our walls, too.'

Chloro says 'She nearly bested Kitiara in my last attendance at court.'

Chloro chuckle's politely.

Kathala raises her eyebrows and purses her lips, clearly impressed.

Chloro says 'A pity she was not stronger in saidar, she would have been a formidable sister. Lets up hope Elayne follows in her footsteps.'

Kathala says 'So many potential paths. Either she knew or didn't. Either she cared or didn't.'

Kathala says 'Or it was all a fabrication and she is as mystified as we are.'

Chloro says 'Or she was manipulated not to.. That is the most feared in my find.'

Chloro says 'There are some facts that point to it.'

Chloro says 'Though most do not point to that conclusion.'

Kathala says 'I suppose we'll have to see when we meet her and think on our feet.'

Kathala tastes a little bit of a tasty cake with raisins.

Chloro takes another sip of her tea. "How have you been otherwise sister? It is so rare I have the time to speak with you."

Kathala chuckles politely.

Kathala says 'Holed up doing research.'

Kathala says 'After all, the Yellows are the second most academic Ajah.'

Chloro perks up, "Oh? is it to do with the new weave for healing?"

Kathala says 'Unfortunately not. I have been going through the library looking for additional Healing weaves.'

Kathala says 'There must be some way to cure Chill.'

Chloro says 'Brandy works wonders on chilly days.'

Chloro says 'Perhaps its properties might help you discover it?'

Kathala says 'Sending men out to fight with liquor in their system sounds like a recipe for disaster.'

Chloro says 'It also goes wonderfully with candied cherries..'

Kathala says 'I just like a dollop of rum in my tea on a cold day.'

Kathala grins evilly.

Chloro chuckle's politely.

A young Tower Guard turns around and glares at Kathala.

A young Tower Guard turns back and faces his corner.

Kathala says 'It would appear I touched a nerve, Jean-Luc?'

Chloro says 'It has been some time since I did that, stronger things are needed as sitter. Whiskey normally works.'

A young Tower Guard mutters something about trying to find a soldier without liquor.

Chloro says 'Have no fear Jean-Luc, her sitter is rarely seen without a full tankard.'

Kathala smirks.

Kathala says 'If I want to taste like something got smoked in my mouth, I will eat some mackerel.'

Chloro says 'Smoked Mackerel with bread and olives sounds lovely for dinner. '

Chloro says 'I will leave you to it sister, let me know if the north needs aid.'

Kathala nods in agreement.

Chloro finishes her tea and leaves it on the table for the Maids to clean. "Perhaps it is time to corner a wisdom."

Kathala says 'Hopefully we will meet in Caemlyn, soon.'

Under the dim light candles of the library, a Gray and Red meet to discuss the things that may hide in plain sight.

The Eighth Depository
The Eighth Depository is one of the largest sections of the library, its
long oval room spanning the breadth of the library building. Locked safely
behind a cast iron fence, the southern part of the depository contains one
of the restricted sections, with works on the subject of objects of the One
Power such as angreal, sa'angreal, and ter'angreal.
[ obvious exits: N ]
(wotmudmapper): (error): No matches found.
Lady Sarinda din Rovan is standing here.

Chloro looks around closely to verify no other sisters were near before embracing saidar and weaving a dome of silence around herself and the red sitter.

Sarinda touches her hand to her forehead, lips, and heart in greeting.

Sarinda looks around the Eighth Depository, nodding in satisfaction to herself. 'If it pleases the Light, Chloro, I admire your recommendation for a more private location.'

Chloro breathes a soft sigh before reaching out and squeezing Sardina's arm. "We need to start meeting outside of needing to manipulate the world."

Sarinda chuckles politely.

Sarinda says 'As I see it, this particular issue is not about the Tower influencing or 'manipulating' the world, but protecting it. Andor, in particular.'

Chloro says 'Aelarien was approached by a so called Andorian noblemen that states they are not planning a coup but want the tower to... Guide Morgase into handling the bandit threat.'

Sarinda nods and says softly, 'I saw your report, sister, and the letter from Queen Morgase. Have you spoken with Aelarien privately yet yourself, since she first encountered this man?'

Chloro shakes her head. "Time has not allowed. We also have other issues. Morgase had a man.. Steering her the last time I attended court in Andor. A lord Gabriel. I could not find a past note of him, but everyone he came into contact with assumed he had been there for years."

Chloro says 'Given our last conversation, the trouble in the south with Mayene, and current mistrust of the tower. It makes a perfect playground for... Our darker counter parts."'

Sarinda snorts quietly at the first comment. 'The thought of Morgase allowing any man to think he could possibly steer her is amusing enough.' But at the Gray's comments, her jaw tightens.

Chloro says 'Your Ajah as sisters stationed in most of the major cities, and outside of Morgase's, Sedai counselor, no one will suspect reds of looking into this further.'

Sarinda says 'Lord Gaebril...I have not heard his name in some time. I remember there was some talk bout him before, but I did not think much of it. I do not always follow the undercurrents of every noble in all the Westlands among the shorebound.'

Chloro rolls her eyes and adjusts her shawl. "Another Lord, similar background was influencing Tear at the same time. Given what just happened with the dream spike, we need to be very careful."

Sarinda nods, admitting, 'The parallels could be more than a coincidence, I can understand that point.'

Chloro says 'I will lead a group of our sisters to see Morgase later this week, but, I also need someone watching those sisters. Up for task?'

Sarinda says 'If it pleases the Light, before we start going hunting for lionfish, we should make sure that we are casting the net in the right location. The questions that I think we need to consider are two, chiefly: Why is this Andoran noble unwilling to reveal his identity? And what are his motives for doing so?'

Chloro says 'That I think will be forced out in our meeting with Morgase. Not all of our sisters have the gift for state craft and I cannot control what they may say.'

Sarinda says 'I can appreciate the way your mind works, puzzling out machinations between people and kingdoms, but before we investigate whether some Forsaken has set up a Darkfriend to infiltrate the Major Houses of Andor, if it pleases the Light, I am concerned about what this mysterious man is trying to pull the White Tower into, and Andor by extension.'

Sarinda draws down her thin eyebrows into a frown.

Chloro says 'Oh sister, we were drawn into it long before he approached us. We signed up for this the moment Morgase earned the serpent ring. Even if it is ceremonial. '

Chloro says 'Our bigger concern, is, what are we not seeing because of Andor. Answer that, and we will see their true target.'

Sarinda leans against a bookshelf with subjects about various ter'angreal, crossing her tattooed arms under her chest. 'That is a touch dramatic, sister,' she replies dryly. 'Next you will be saying this has been an inevitability ever since Ishara Casalain allied with the Amyrlin Deane Aryman and named herself first queen of Andor.'

Sarinda says 'What precisely did this 'noble' request of the Tower? To beseech Queen Morgase to investigate and stop a bandit uprising?'

Chloro says 'That is what he asked for, however, it does give us an excuse to check on things on Andor. A noble child was kidnapped a fortnight ago. That is not common for Andor.'

Sarinda frowns.

Sarinda says 'Of which House?'

Chloro says 'The report did not say. However, Morgase knew them strongly enough to know that man that died in the rescue. I would expect a high ranking house.'

Sarinda frowns, replying, 'Which report do you speak of? I am not sure I have heard about this from my Ajah's eyes-and-ears, or from any report to the Hall.'

Chloro flicks a speck of dust off her skirts. "A general report, I cannot remember from where. So many come in these days, one starts to look like another."

Sarinda shifts her weight, a disappointed look on her face, and sighs. 'If it pleases the Light, I do not like missing news, even if I have good reasons for being away from the Tower of late.'

Chloro chuckles and smiles warmly, "that feeling dear sister, comes to us all."

Sarinda says 'I have been focused more on some of the news about a new dreadlord seen in the Gap in recent weeks. Zanadu, some call him.'

Sarinda's face darkens.

Chloro says 'Perhaps a planted distraction?'

Sarinda shrugs indifferently.

Sarinda says 'A stretch, I think, to believe that something happening in the Howling Caves north of the Ruined Keep deep in the Blight might be related to an unnamed man, purportedly an Andoran noble, asking the White Tower to pressure Queen Morgase to hunt some bandits.'

Chloro says 'Stranger things have happened sister. Last Hallows eve the dead rose in Andor.'

Sarinda says 'If that is the type of stones player one must be to join the Gray Ajah, I clearly would not have been fit to join it. Your ability to see things others cannot is a strength, sister, but also a heavy burden at times.'

Chloro says 'More times than not of late.'

Sarinda takes a quiet breath and turns fully to study the Gray Sitter. She offers a reassuring smile and says, 'So, Chloro, if it pleases the Light, tell me. What do you propose?'

Chloro says 'See what you can get out of Elaida Sedai, and your Red sister near Caemlyn. They won't suspect you coming.'

Sarinda says 'You mean about this Lord Gaebril? The bandit situation? Or both?'

Chloro says 'Both and more, there could be situations we have not seen yet.'

Sarinda nods in agreement.

Sarinda raises her right hand to her lips. 'It is agreed, under the Light.'

Chloro says 'Once this is over, we must have tea, and a rest.'

Sarinda says 'Did I hear that Hadley attended this noble along with the Aes Sedai? I wonder if she is interested in the Grays, or the Blues, perhaps.'

Chloro starts looking into a book to the left on the bear ter'angreal, allowing Sarinda to leave first.

Chloro nods as she continues.

Sarinda nods in agreement.

Sarinda says 'May the Light illumine you, and see you safe to your journey's end.'

Chloro says 'You as well sister.'

Sarinda offers a brief embrace of the Gray Sitter as she makes her way to the door. 'Be careful in your own investigations, Chloro,' she offers concernedly. 'If it pleases the Light, hunting lionfish should never be done without proper preparation and respect for the prey, at risk of peril to the angler.'

A Pristine Parchment Sealed with Gray Wax.

To Her Majesty Morgase, Queen of Andor, Defender of the Realm, Protector of the People and High seat of House Trakand,

I bid you greetings your highness. It has been some time since I was able to attend court in Andor and Elayne progresses well in her studies. If it pleases your Majesty, I will be in Caemlyn traveling with several Aes Sedai and request audience with you in five days time, during the evening. Please let me know if this suits your highness. We all share our concern over the unsightliness of the noble kidnapping that happened recently, and so close to the borders of Tar Valon. The Tower stands by its pledge of aid to Andor should it be needed.

Sincerely,
Chloro Arovni
Sitter of the Gray Ajah

*************
A Scroll Sealed in Red Wax with a Lions Head.

To Lady Chloro Sedai,

I appreciate the kindness you show me in relating Elayne's progress. It gladdens me to hear she is doing well. We too were concerned about the kidnapping. Thankfully it was resolved quickly, and with the exception of one death, a man named Den, all ended well. I will happily host you and your sisters, I look forward to seeing you all.

Queen Morgase Trakand
Grace of the Light, Queen of Andor, Defender of the Realm, Protector of the People, High Seat of House Trakand

************

Chloro sighed as she placed the scroll down on her desk in the sitters office within the Gray wing. The woman truly could reach for the stars... "Grace of the light." Andor was the only nation Chloro had known the dead to rise in and give chase to the living, but such is what one experienced, living this long.

Picking up her quill she hastily wrote in a clean script and a sheet of paper and snapped for the novice attending her.

"Gilly, take this to Alyssa Sedai and state it is to be posted outside the hall for all Aes Sedai to see. Do it smartly girl, I do not want to hear you stopping for sweet cakes, or I'll let you tell Kathala Sedai why there are none left."

The novice's face visibly paled at the veiled threat before she snatched the parchment and rushed off.

Kitiara says 'Perhaps you would recover more easily from your journey if you were to remove that hood. You are safe here.'

Ashlynn nods at Kitiara.

A hooded figure says 'Afraid I can't do that. But I understand your caution.'

Ashlynn peers closely at A hooded figure, trying to figure it out.

A hooded figure says 'Dangerous world, even more dangerous for a noble going behind his Queens back.'

A hooded figure says 'I'm sure you would agree.'

Chloro embraces saidar weaving flows of water, air, and earth as a dome forms nearly as large as the room cutting off all noise from the outside and keeping any other noise within. "You may speak freely Sir."

Ashlynn says 'You are in Tar Valon. With several Aes Sedai. You are safe here.'

Kathala's brown eyes widen slightly in her round face.

A hooded figure says 'It's not about safety. Reputation is everything. There are nobles amongst you. So you know what I speak.'

Kathala says 'The White Tower invented the Great Game, Sister.'

Kathala chuckles politely.

Maddy frowns.

Kitiara says 'I would agree that it is dangerous to go against ones monarch yes, though I would question the boldness to go that monarchs closest ally.'

A hooded figure says 'I will reveal myself in time. You'll just have to trust me, or not. I only ask that you hear me.'

Ashlynn nods at Kitiara.

A hooded figure tilts his head and shrugs a shoulder.

Hadley looks at A hooded figure.

A hooded figure says 'Are you not the Aes Sedai? Servants to all? Protectors of all? It seems like this is the correct choice.'

Aelarien shifts slightly her eyes narrowing

A hooded figure says 'And the fact that you are my Queens closest ally also seems correct. No?'

A hooded figure waves a hand.

A hooded figure says 'Will you hear me?'

Kathala says 'To clarify, are we speaking about Andor?'

Kitiara gestures to her gathered Sisters, 'We are indeed, and you have gathered a reception that would be fit for your Queen. We are here to hear it.'

A hooded figure says 'I do believe I said as much to Aes Sedai Aelarien, but if I did not, my apologies. We are speaking of Andor.'

Chloro speaks firmly and swiftly. "We will hear what you have to say, but will do with the information as we wish."

A hooded figure says 'Naturally.'

A hooded figure says 'I'm sure we can all agree that Andor has a bandit problem.'

Kathala nods slightly, an extra chin forming briefly before disappearing again.

A hooded figure shifts uncomfortably.

Aelarien says 'Indeed, the recent kidnapping has highlighted it more so'

A hooded figure says 'For years it has gotten worse, the numbers have multiplied, and more bandit Lords rise, as the Lady Aelarien said so well.'

A hooded figure says 'The Queen stands by. The Queens Guard stand by.'

Kathala nibbles on the chunk of cheese, savoring the taste.

A hooded figure says 'The people both in Andor and at large suffer, however.'

Chloro pulls a small notebook and charcoal pen from her purse as she begins recording the mans words.

A hooded figure says 'Myself and a few other noble families have petitioned the Queen at various times, and nothing has come of it. The problem persists.'

A hooded figure shrugs a shoulder.

Ashlynn looks at A hooded figure.

A hooded figure says 'I want to make it clear, we care not interested in a coup.'

A hooded figure says 'But something has to be done. So we hoped to approach our closest ally and ask if there's any way you could help.'

Kitiara says 'What is it you would suggest?'

A hooded figure says 'I will not attempt to tell those far wiser and more powerful than myself, how, do to this.'

A hooded figure says 'I only beg that you try.'

Ashlynn says 'Perhaps you could use some assistance from the Greens and the Gaidin in drill.'

Chloro looks to her sisters letting them ask their questions first.

Ashlynn says 'Raise a town guard if the Queen's Guard are not concerned enough.'

Kathala says 'Do you feel the problem lies with the Queen, or the Queen's Guard, kind sir?'

Ashlynn says 'We still don't know who you are. You claim to be someone of importance and offer no proof. Not even a signet ring with some house's seal...'

A hooded figure snorts out a laugh but quickly turns it into a cough.

A hooded figure says 'You think we could raise our own men? In Andor? Caemlyn?'

Hadley gives a cup to A hooded figure.

Ashlynn pauses and thinks carefully, listening to Kathala and letting the others speak.

Hadley says 'For your cough, sir.'

Ashlynn says 'Why not? The most populous city in the known world, right?'

Kitiara grins wryly at the Accepted before going back to watching the hooded man.

Ashlynn says 'Surely you have the gold to hire some swords... '

Ashlynn says 'If the people are fed up enough that you are willing to face accusations of treason...'

Ashlynn trails off.

A hooded figure says 'And how would that look? It's bad enough I'm here now. You think such a thing would be allowed?'

A hooded figure turns his attention to Kathala.

Maddy pats Hadley shoulder and smiles at her.

Ashlynn says 'I don't know. Chloro Sedai, are there sword control laws in Andor?'

Chloro shakes her head listening to the questions but continues to notate the conversation.

Ashlynn throws her hands up.

Kitiara says 'Are there particular bandit groups that have been plaguing you and your fellow nobles?'

Kathala peers into the shadows of the hood.

A hooded figure says 'It is our belief that the Queen is likely unaware or trusts in her Queens Guard too much.'

A hooded figure says 'But regardless she refuses to listen and the problem remains. She has been petitioned several times on these matters.'

Aelarien says 'perhaps your household guards could be used?'

A hooded figure turns to Kitiara.

Ashlynn says 'He might not even have household guards, sister.'

Kathala nods her head graciously for the answer and frowns slightly, pondering the answer. A hooded figure says 'Several men lead several bands. Roland, Ragnor, a new one named Wilmastar. I'm sure you've heard of them and had run ins yourselves.'

Kitiara says 'And if I were to speak with Morgase, what would you prefer I address?'

A hooded figure says 'I couldn't say. That is up to you.'

Kitiara says 'The Guards failures, or simply the scope of the banditry?'

Aelarien whispers to Ashlynn "true enough sister but if he is what he claims...."

Chloro clears her throat and looks towards the Hooded figure. "Sisters, I believe we are delving this conversation in the wrong direction."

A hooded figure says 'Offer your help with dealing with the problem. Put pressure on her so that she does. This is not a problem that hurts just Andor. Cake is not far from your own door.'

Kathala says 'For one, we are servants of all, if someone comes to us we should at least consider assisting before telling them to sort it out themselves. Especially as Yellows.'

Kathala looks at Ashlynn.

Kitiara takes a step back, allowing Chloro to address the hooded figure.

Kathala's eyebrows raise at the mention of cake.

A hooded figure waits patiently.

Aelarien says 'And such resource as would be used would no doubt take away from the protection of the lands from the threat from the north'

Aelarien says 'perhaps it is within our remit to assist Andor with this...Issue'

Kitiara glances around to see if any of her Sisters have any additional questions for the man

A hooded figure shifts in his chair, hands in lap.

Chloro says 'Sir, I will not ask your name, however you can see our faces. I think it only fair we see yours. Certain shadow spawn choose to hide within hooded cloaks. If I remember correctly. Andorians hide from little to nothing.'

Aelarien takes a slight step backward indicating she is done

Chloro says 'Brave as a lion, I believe.'

A hooded figure says 'Afraid I have to refuse you.'

Kathala says 'If he were a myrddraal, we would feel the fear, Sister.'

A hooded figure tilts his head apologetically.

Kathala says '"The look of the eyeless is fear."'

A hooded figure chuckles quietly.

Aelarien says 'we would have all felt its presence before he reached us in the square'

A hooded figure says 'Bed time stories, I see.'

Chloro says 'Very well, but that may count against you later, should we see you without a hood and not know who you are. You stated that the Queen was Petitioned. Was she alone when this was done, or did anyone else in her court attend?'

Maddy says 'would we also not sense him?'

A hooded figure says 'I accept that you may believe me to be a fairy or what have you, but I am here and simply asking for help.'

A hooded figure says 'My apologies, I was waiting for questions.'

A hooded figure says 'If we are done, I am happy to take my leave to allow you to discuss amongst yourselves.'

Maddy says 'Why have you come alone? '

Chloro says 'I see, I did ask one, but I will re-phrase.'

Aelarien whispers something to Ashlynn.

Ashlynn nods at Aelarien.

Ashlynn whispers something to Aelarien.

A hooded figure says 'Too much risk for too many of us to travel together. One nobleman on the way to Tar Valon, even in disguise, means nothing. Multiple requires questions.'

A hooded figure nods at Maddy.

Chloro says 'You mentioned noble's involved, are we talking manor lords, or High Seats of noble houses?'

A hooded figure says 'Good question, fair question.'

Maddy nods at A hooded figure.

Ashlynn whispers something to Aelarien.

Aelarien whispers something to Ashlynn.

Aelarien whispers something to Ashlynn.

Maddy says 'Have you all met as a group before this or is it done less obvious'

Ashlynn whispers something to Aelarien.

A hooded figure says 'Various members of the nobility of Andor, Lady Chloro.'

A hooded figure says 'It's much easier to meet at home, this party or that.'

A hooded figure makes a gesture with his hand.

Ashlynn mutters to herself in complete disgust.

Ashlynn says 'Yeah, not a coup attempt. Right.'

Maddy says 'What I am asking is there a chance you are under suspicion already?'

A hooded figure says 'The Queen is brilliant.'

A hooded figure smiles happily.

A hooded figure says 'So who knows. Possibly.'

Maddy beams a smile at A hooded figure.

Chloro says 'You mentioned you do not wish a hostile takeover for this. I would assume these nobles wore red arm bands and not white in the previous conflict?'

A hooded figure says 'I honestly couldn't tell you, that was before my time. We all support Queen Morgase.'

Chloro nod's in agreement.

A hooded figure says 'Again, this is not a coup, we are simply asking for your help in getting this
issue taken care of.'

A hooded figure shrugs a shoulder and leans foward.

Chloro says 'You also mentioned a new Bandit, Wilmaster. How did he come to be, prior to abducting a noble child?'

A hooded figure says 'If you wish not to, that's fine. If you will, excellent.'

A hooded figure says 'No one knows such things. You would have to ask the man himself.'

Kathala's eyes drift as she ponders something.

A hooded figure says 'He sprung up one day like the rest.'

A hooded figure makes a gesture like something sprouting up.

Kathala says 'One could argue that if bandits grow so bold that they abduct children, especially well-guarded children, that this has the nobles unsettled.

Maddy nods at Kathala.

Chloro says 'You are asking a great deal, even of an Aes Sedai. Like nobles we to rise and fall with the tides. What end would you seek for this? Having them driven from Andor, or a more stable military presence to prevent them in future?'

A hooded figure smiles knowingly at Kathala.

A hooded figure pauses and tilts his head to the side, seemingly thinking.

A hooded figure says 'Andor is Andor. You are our closest and most trusted ally. We need no aid in that sense. All that we seek is for you to meet with the Queen. Express that you've noticed a problem. And help if you wish to.'

A hooded figure says 'You could even do this by letter for all we care. We are just desperate to see the thing done.'

Kathala chats 'the sky showed the rainbow signal, so we came?'

Aelarien says 'I should not think a military presence within Andor would be acceptable to the Queen, but perhaps we can offer her our aid?'

A hooded figure says 'Any help is helpful.'

Ashlynn nods at Aelarien.

Maddy ponders her words then says, 'We do clear out the bandits as we come across them already.'

Aelarien says 'we should travel to Caemlyn with this man and "request" an audience with Morgase'

Ashlynn says 'Not enough of them are hanging from posts at the crossroads.'

A hooded figure says 'Which is another reason I approach you Lady Maddy Sedai.'

A hooded figure smiles happily.

Maddy beams a smile at A hooded figure.

Ashlynn grins at Aelarien.

Ashlynn says 'He won't even tell us his name! I doubt he will accompany us for an audience.'

A hooded figure says 'That is correct. I will not. My apologies again.'

Chloro says 'Do the Nobles in this party of yours, offer any exchange for speaking with the Queen?'

Maddy says 'I believe this man would not like to be seen with us.'

Kathala says 'Perhaps not showing all of our cards would be wise...'

A hooded figure bows in his seat.

Ashlynn nods at Kathala.

A hooded figure turns his attention to Lady Chloro.

Kathala says 'Least of all, a useful eyes and ears.'

A hooded figure says 'What do you mean?'

A hooded figure beams a smile at Maddy.

A hooded figure says 'Are you asking if we will pay you, Lady Chloro?'

A hooded figure shifts uncomfortably.

Kathala tugs at her shawl.

Chloro says 'We all play the great game in a fashion, each move is done with precision based on what can be gained. Would your party be willing to back sisters traveling within Andor should they seek shelter or aid?'

Kitiara opens the frontdoor.

Kitiara leaves south. vv

Ashlynn sniffs sadly.

Ashlynn closes the frontdoor.

A hooded figure says 'I do believe such things are already done.'

Maddy says 'Doesn't everyone in Andor do that already.'

A hooded figure says 'But if you wish it to be written formally, I see no reason why not.'

Maddy says 'We don't want to draw eyes to this man who has asked us for aid we may or may not offer.'

Chloro says 'I mean to ensure that it continues. Then I will raise this to the rest of my sisters and we will do what we can. '

A hooded figure shifts a leg awkwardly.

Kathala says 'And what's next? We ask the poor who are victims from these bandits for favors? We are servants of all, not... bankers.'

Maddy nods at Kathala.

Aelarien says 'perhaps we could offer him lodgings here in Tar Valon to ensure he is kept safe?'

A hooded figure shrugs indifferently.

Ashlynn nods at Aelarien.

Chloro gets a large number of gold crowns from a purse.

Ashlynn whispers something to Aelarien.

A hooded figure says 'If you wish for some sort of written item, I will do so personally.'

A hooded figure says 'If you help.'

A hooded figure says 'Naturally.'

Chloro says 'I would offer you a room in the Guest quarters, but I do not think you being seen in the Tower would benefit your cause.'

Chloro gives 50 crowns to the hooded figure.

A hooded figure seems to withdraw into himself.

Chloro says 'This will get you a private room at the Inn a few blocks over, no questions asked.'

A hooded figure hands back the coin.

Maddy says 'Is there anyone you think we should beware of joining the Queen should we be granted an audience.'

A hooded figure says 'I have no need of your money. Thank you.'

A hooded figure stands awkwardly, having trouble finding his feet.

Ashlynn looks at A hooded figure.

Ashlynn says 'Are you unwell?'

A hooded figure says tightly, 'I think we have discussed all we can today.'

Maddy nods at A hooded figure.

Ashlynn says 'You look a little pale, are you dizzy?'

Ashlynn says 'From what I can see anyway.'

A hooded figure says 'I'm fine, thank you.'

Ashlynn gestures towards the hood.

Chloro looks to her sisters quickly then the man.

A hooded figure pulls it lower and gives a half bow towards the Lady Ashlynn.

Ashlynn whispers to Chloro, 'I don't like that he will not identify himself. After all we are Aes Sedai and if we guaranteed we would not reveal him, why would he have any reason not to.'

Kathala's face gains a chin as she smiles.

A hooded figure says 'One week.'

A hooded figure says 'If you are willing to help, excellent. If not, we understand.'

A hooded figure says 'But it would be helpful to hear from you within a weeks time.'

Maddy says 'Is that a time frame for us or you?'

Ashlynn whispers to you, 'Regardless, if someone is concerned about lawbreakers assaulting and murdering innocent people, I don't think they can be one hundred percent evil. It's a good cause.'

Chloro says 'You have my word, I will send word to Queen Morgase within the week.'

A hooded figure bows deeply.

A hooded figure says 'That is all I ask.'

Ashlynn sips from the cup.

Ashlynn tastes a little bit of a choice steak.

A hooded figure says 'If you'll excuse me, I'll leave you to discuss.'

Chloro releases the weave around the Coachroom.

A hooded figure bows his way out of the door.

A hooded figure opens the frontdoor.

A hooded figure leaves south. vv

The frontdoor closes quietly.

Chloro says 'Before you go sisters.'

Ashlynn whispers something to Hadley.

Kathala says 'Interesting that he thinks to set terms to a group of Aes Sedai. Few have the guts to do that.'

Hadley nods in agreement.

Chloro says 'I said I would send word to Morgase, I did not say what word. Perhaps an update on Elyane and her training.'

Ashlynn whispers something to Hadley.

Ashlynn nudges Hadley suggestively with her elbow.

Ashlynn winks at Hadley.

Ashlynn beams a smile at Hadley.

Kathala says 'It would suggest this is someone who is used being listened to.'

Hadley attempts a smile while the blood leaves her face, resulting in a ghastly visage.

Aelarien nods at Kathala.

Ashlynn gets a cup of tea and hands it to Hadley.

Ashlynn says 'Drink some of this, dear.'

Chloro says 'A Lord Gabriel made issue for us, during the last Andor conflict. I wonder if he is behind this as well.'

Maddy says 'Who would you suggest then?'

Hadley sips a cup of tea slowly.

Ashlynn says 'I sensed a lack of trust.'

Maddy says 'I don't blame him'

Chloro says 'I sensed a lack of using a human body. Kathala seemed to pick that up.'

Maddy says 'If he has approached the palace and been turned away....'

Ashlynn says 'He is asking a lot for someone who is not confident in the Aes Sedai.'

Ashlynn says 'I will say that he cannot be one hundred percent bad if he is truly concerned about banditry.'

Maddy says 'He did assume some of us were nobles.'

Ashlynn says 'We should reach out to eyes and ears to verify these claims of increased activity.'

Chloro says 'But is that his concern sister? He can do what we cannot, he can lie.'

Aelarien says 'I for one know many with friends in Andor who would be sending messages as soon as a Noble was seen petitioning Aes Sedai, i believe he was just being cautious'

Aelarien says 'but i defer to those with sharper eyes than mine.'

Maddy says 'I will ask my contacts.'

Kathala says 'This cake... person is new, yes?'

Chloro says 'You see Maddy, Gray lessons do come in handy.'

Chloro smiles smugly.

Ashlynn nods at Kathala.

Maddy smiles at Chloro.

Kathala nods in agreement.

Ashlynn says 'He's holed up in the no man's land between us and Andor.'

Kathala says 'It could be innocent. It could be a plot.'

Maddy says 'He is quite fearsome'

Ashlynn says 'I heard he has a ter'angreal that prevents usage of the One Power.'

Ashlynn says 'Has anyone been sent to try to retrieve it?'

Chloro says 'The dream spike was innocent until the Dark One's strongest General took it. '

Maddy says 'He killed one of our guards the other night and Kokoro got hurt trying to save the man.'

Kathala says 'Interesting.'

Kathala says 'I should get out of my chambers more often.'

Chloro says 'You really should sister, not only could we use your presence. These girls of late do not know what a really sweet cake is..'

Ashlynn nods at Kathala.

Aelarien says 'I feel, with no insight into who this man is, a letter requesting an audience regarding his concerns should be sent to Morgase, perhaps if we play along with this we will get more answers about who this man is'

Ashlynn grins at Chloro.
