Accepted Sondra approached me inquiring about pursuing the Blue Ajah...

A Long, Portrait-Lined Hallway
Finely carved white stone juniper leaves and cones form a frieze just
underneath the curvature of the arched ceiling, as well as cornices above
the doors that line the hallway. Decorating the pale walls are a multitude
of portraits of women wearing the staff and stole, all images of Amyrlins
were raised from the Blue Ajah. Floor tiles is innumerable hues of blue
have been laid in a wavy pattern.

Continuing Down the Hallway
The vaulted corridor of pale white stone meets floor tiles in every shade
of blue, from a pale morning sky to the deep violet of twilight. The wavy
pattern of the tiles gives a hint of grandeur. Simple decorated gilded
stand lamps light the corridor and its wall hangings of spring gardens and
Two portraits of women with ageless faces feature prominently in this
section of the corridor. The portraits are labelled 'Ciel' and 'Adaire'.

This young woman runs by you with a smile and hasty curtsey. As she
passes, you notice small black spots on her otherwise spotless hemmed
Accepteds dress. If she doesn't resemble a true book nerd, then no one
could.

Conservatory of the Blue Ajah
During daytime, bright light floods in from tall, arched windows set in the
eastern wall, which offer a view of the many spires of Tar Valon as well as
the eastern bank of the Erinin. On clear days, the peaks of the Dragonwall
can be seen, far away to the east. Bookshelves, tables, maps and charts are
all present as the Blue sisters prepare for whatever tasks currently occupy
them or as they plan business away from the Tower. On one wall hang two
large portraits of Ciel Sedai and Adaire Sedai, with white ribbons of
mourning tied into the latticework of the frames.

Sondra says 'thank you for taking the time to visit with me.'

Kitiara says 'I expect novices to be caught dozing, Accepted should know better.'

Kitiara says 'The world is a dangerous place... the Tower is not an exception to this.'

Sondra says 'I must have dropped some ink while placing books in the library and taking notes.'

Sondra says 'It shall be address first thing when you dismiss me.'

Kitiara continues watching the Accepted, listening.

Sondra says 'but i have learned that there is so much to the world that books can't help with and so many people that need help.'

Sondra says 'i feel that it would be a sin to the creator to let my skill sit in a dusty room.'

Kitiara says 'The Yellow are always looking for people who wish to help others child, perhaps there is a better goal.'

Sondra says 'it is not healing them that I wish to do...'

Kitiara says 'And what is it that you wish to do?'

Sondra says 'it is helping nations, villages, individuals. It is seeking out change.'

Kitiara says 'Ah, the Gray has just recently made themselves more available, shall I call in Jocelyn?'

Sondra says 'i want to do what is right by the light.'

Sondra says 'thank you but no.'

Kitiara nods to a Novice who poked her head in the room briefly.

Sondra says 'i'm want justice for the people.'

Kitiara bellows 'Accepted Chloro, gather Novice Kavia and whoever else helped her with your mutual task and await my summons. Do not discuss among yourselves. '

Sondra says 'i fear i am rambling.'

Kitiara says 'I fear you do not understand what you are asking about.'

Sondra says 'there are many righteous and noble causes that could use help.'

Sondra says 'i seek to be that help.'

Sondra frowns.

Sondra says 'perhaps my head has out ran my mouth Aes Sedai.'

Kitiara shakes her head in disappointment before saying, 'What is it you think I do Accepted? What do you think the Blue Ajah is?'

Someone knocks on the door from the other side.

Sondra says 'would you allow me to put together a formal letter to you explaining my intent and reasons?'

Kitiara says 'No, I prefer not to read but to speak. Writing things down can be dangerous. If you cannot think on your feet then how do you intend to move nations.'

Sondra says 'i fear I became flustered and have lost a great deal of respect with my nerves.'

Kitiara says 'One moment.'

Kitiara glances at the door and calls, 'You may enter.'

The door is opened from the other side.

Chloro has arrived from the west.
Kavia has arrived from the west.

Chloro deeply curtsey's to the Aes Sedai near.

Kitiara says 'Accepted you were told to gather the Novice and await my summons.'

Chloro says 'Forgive me Aes Sedai I did not hear the last part. '

Kitiara says 'I will call send Sondra for you when I am finished.'

Chloro says 'Yes Aes Sedai'

Chloro inclines her head in greeting to Sondra.

Sondra jumps to close the door.

Sondra was just a bit slow.

Kitiara says 'You fear you have lost respect, but for that to occur Accepted would there not need to be respect to lose?'

Sondra says 'that is a good logical point Kitiara Sedai.'

Kitiara says 'So, you have yet to answer my questions.'

Sondra says 'perhaps I should have phrased it better. I fear I have placed my self in a hole...which will be hard to climb out of.'

Kitiara says 'Then let us see if you can build a ladder.'

Sondra says 'your question what "what do I think you do?"'

Sondra says 'was*'

Kitiara says 'And the follow up of what do you think the Blue Ajah does.'

Sondra says 'I think you try to do right. I think you try to find ways to save the world and improve it. I think you find a cause that is worth fighting for and run the world through hell to make sure you fight well, and succeed.'

Sondra says 'I think the Blue Ajah saves lives by fighting not only the dark, but that corrupt light.'

Kitiara says 'Well that is a start.'

Sondra says 'I think the Blue Ajah is the Ajah that cares most for this world and those who live in it.'

Sondra says 'You do not get stuck with only healing people.'

Sondra says 'you do not get stuck with only fighting trollocs and Fades'

Sondra says 'you do not get bogged down with only looking at treaties.'

Sondra says 'you are not just cold logic, you are pass'onate!'

Kitiara is sitting.

Kitiara nods along and holds her hand to stop the Accepted.

Kitiara says 'Good. At least you have some understanding, if not complete. '

Sondra shuts her mouth with a clack.

Kitiara says 'There is something we hold in common with the Brown, although our use for it is much different... do you know what that is?'

Sondra says 'the belief that knowledge is power?'

Kitiara says 'we value knowledge yes. '

Kitiara says 'It is why the Blue Ajah boosts one of the largest is not the largest network of eyes and ears there is.'

Kitiara says 'However from time to time our agents are not enough, and we must venture into the world ourselves... and there are times in these situations where we would prefer to go un noticed.'

Sondra nods with a twinkle of possible understanding blooming in her eyes.

Kitiara says 'Practicality and versatility are particularly important.'

Kitiara says 'Any questions?'

Sondra says 'Many Aes Sedai. But I will try to figure it out on my own before admitting defeat.'

Kitiara nods in agreement.

Kitiara says 'take your time'

Sondra says 'Yes Kitiara Sedai'

Kitiara says 'when you have gathered everything send me a mail, i do not want a report or a list... but we will schedule a time if needed to discuss. Be ready to defend your choices.'

Sondra nods in agreement.

Kitiara says 'If it is cumbersome to keep everything you can give it to Anayia here and send that log'

Sondra nods in agreement.

Sondra says 'Yes Aes Sedai'

Kitiara says 'Be aware Accepted, this is not my bringing you on as an apprentice.'

Sondra stands with her back straight.

Kitiara says 'The path to the Blue Ajah is longer than most... harder than most... and many do not ever don our shawl.'

Sondra says 'but it could lead further down my path Kitiara Sedai. And I will learn no matter what.'

Kitiara nods at her.

Kitiara says 'The Wheel weaves child. '

Kitiara says 'Find your fellow Accepted and her novice and send them in. please.'

Sondra curtseys before Kitiara.

Sondra opens the door.

Sondra leaves west.

The door closes quietly.
