Re: An ornate chainmail shirt chased with gold.

Amidst the boiling chaos of piss, “mounting horses”, maniacal laughter from a one-armed ginger beard and the Broke Back Children... Rentris slammed a wicked axe on to the stall and grabbed the shirt. The mistake realized too late. The well-endowed wildebeest screamed, grabbed the axe and began chasing Rentris out of town.

He threw the shirt back as Tattoo Chuck was obviously unsatified with his offer.

Lea awakens with a lurch, her pleasant dream about RARE WEAPONS interrupted by the smell of urine. Scratching at her painted arm pits, she scans the tavern next door, a well known spot for people with a variety of interests. Through the window, she spots her friend, Child Hasp, and his telltale urine stained cloak. Calling out to him over the din she says, "Hey Hasp! Come trade with me! You're just going to lose anything valuable you have to a trolloc, anyway!"

Hasp turned toward Thaden and wrinkled his nose. The smell of sheep and urine began to sweep through the tavern. "Boy that really stings the nostrils." Hasp stated.

As he looked out the window he saw a few farmers with swords with a red wool cloak on. Hasp asked, "What kind of fools ride sheep? You think they kow that or are they just too drunk?"

Hasp shrugged and took another drink of ale. He thought they must still be recovering from the war to be acting so crazy.

Stevan walks through the Bazaar, dodging the strange and shady people as he navigates through the night crowd. He passes a tavern that is known for its 'Boy's nights', he notices Rentris exiting the tavern wiping his brow, sweating profusely. Rentris was acting odd, looking around to see if anyone had noticed him being there. Avail rode by him coughing loudly and snickering, almost as if he were mocking him. The young Red Eagle then turned to a stall where Lea was snoring, half dressed, wrapped in a chainmail shirt. Confused by the actions of his senior officers, he was filled with fear and regret. He then mounted a nearby horse and rode off as quickly as he could, to Emond's Field.

Avail caught a glimpse of Rentris leaving the bar as he rode by. Rearing his horse he coughed loudly. Rentris looked up, disgusted.

"Brother, what in light are you doing in a place like that? Avail snickered

Rentris said something but Avail was unable to hear through the thunderous snoring coming from a nearby stall.

Rentris entered and went to the bar to begin quietly speaking with the barkeep, hoping to relax from his trip to the saltlands of Tear. He didn't immediately notice, but the bar seemed...off. That's when Rentris saw him: a whitecloak sitting at a table. He was staring at another whitecloak that had just entered. A lustful sigh seemed to escape the one sitting at the table as the Children's eyes locked, the newcomer licking his lips and nodding slowly. The sitting whitecloak made an eager motion to have the second one join him.

The tired Red Eagle could overhear snippets of their conversation drift through the monotone droning of the barkeep.
hasp wrote:"Boys...like these very often...more manly than...Not hard... but not very..."
The first Child seemed to be smiling now.
Thaden wrote: ...and prodding...backside...with...objects, so I do. Now...lady boys..."
Suddenly the first Child stood up to stare out the window, the second one eyeing him eagerly and seemingly deep in a fantasy as the other walked away.

Rentris then understood what kind of bar this was as he slipped back out into the streets.

Hasp thinks to himself as Thaden walks off about how lucky the Children of Light are. Secretly, he was thankful the Children had passed on the ladies Mudrada and Meridius. He did not have to worry about the Amadician guards trying to flirt with them causing trouble for the Children but knew the Hand could deal with their "issues".

Thaden listens to Hasp's words of false information, pretending to agree while offering a grin. He mentions to Hasp "I am unsure about Hand Keim, he never leaves the torturing room, he spends a great deal of time in there burning himself and prodding his backside with pointy objects, so I do forget what he looks like. Now, those lads Mudrada and Meridius, lady boys no doubt."

He then stands and walks over to the tavern window, looking out at the Bazaar. The drunken lady was no longer shouting, but instead murmuring words in her sleep that he couldn't quite hear. Something about "wicked axes", "tridents", and "you are not the father."

Hasp notices the Hand wave his hand. Excitededly grabs an ale from the bartender and sits down. He turns his head and nods with a smile.

"Boy they don't make women like these very often. Thank the Creator for that. She is more manly than Hand Keim. Not hard to do but not very common."

Hasp nods at himself in reassurance.

Lea twitches in her sleep, muttering about "wicked axes" and "tridents".
