The broker is frustrated and obviously wants to garner a deal.
"My client has been offered the gold that I suggested from several parties - but instead she has gotten all persnickety and is implying that the important part of her request was for jewelry."
"She is looking for six jeweled cuffs with the balance of the value in gold, and would be interested in any larger number of cuffs to boot."
He obviously dislikes being messed around and wants this job finished with. As he calls for another beer he is muttering about client's who don't know the value of what they're asking and why would anyone want more than one set of jewelry anyway.

A broker stands idly, smoking a pungent pipe.
"My client was planning on taking this shocklance to fight for the Lord Dragon, but has found herself short of funds and equipment for the expedition."
"News of a recent auction revealed the worth of these weapons at twenty thousand gold pieces, and a multitude of jeweled wristcuffs, and similarly valuable items."
He hands you a card and gives a tight lipped smile, "my client has asked that people contact her directly with offers, or alternatively she is usually amenable to a few drinks at many of the local taverns, her clan mate may also be amenable to a similar offer".
The broker taps out his pipe and returns to his drinks.
