A sturdy balustrade of intricately crafted balusters keeps the visitors of
this Market Hall from falling into the stairwell that leads to the ground
floor. A large number of shields have been hung on display on the banister
by the proprietor of the stand below. Adjacent to the stairwell is a stand
selling light swords and fencing blades, which have been neatly displayed
on stretches of carmine and cobalt colored velvet.
