I fixed the cook by having him sit . The shepherd rewards in a different way, he hides the reward somewhere in the zone. He should've done that before vanishing. I've also added a "sit" to him too, but there's always the chance that he walks off somewhere in the talk.

Saving sheep is its own reward!

Crowded Forest
The sound of birds chirping in the air is almost deafening here as they
twiddle and tweet. Small shapes fly from branch to branch, seeking out the
rich nuts and seeds that laden the branches of the trees. Vines laden with
large purple blossoms climb and strain their way up the side of the trees.
Small bumble bees flit from blossom to blossom. The ways to the north,
south, east, and west are all open.

Thick Trunks
As wide as a wagon these huge trees dominate the area. The root structure
of these massive trees is partly visible above the soil. Within these
roots a series of nests are visible, lined with twigs, branches, and soft
downy turkey feathers. The ways to the north and east are open.

Buttercup walked out south and the shepherd just vanished. I maybe just overlooked it, which is bound to happen, but I didn't find the reward sack anywhere so I assumed it bugged out.

This obviously wasn't done on Deimos and, while I wasn't thrilled about a cup of syrup, I'd still like to be given my just rewards! This also isn't a first with the westwood DE NPC's. I know there is a mob somewhere that will actually sit down while handing out rewards, can that be done with these?
