I think other shops, that were untouched, are also affected, meaning essentially the whole of Illian's shops are bugged. I tried re-setting the zone for shops, but if that doesn't work it's a coding thing.

do different stores value items differently? i.e shop a pays 10 crowns vs shop b who pays 15?

A little both. Every item has a cost, which appears to be related to shop pricing. Shop items are loaded the same way as mobs and their eq are, every repop/boot.

We should have a shop-imm whose sole job it is to go around and fix the shops :twisted:

Shops are coded. Mobol is not involved with shops at all. The times I checked, the Friday boot didn't seem to be a factor as I had fixed it again yesterday and it was broken again today.

Shops are just bug prone, it seems. E.g. the pet shop bug.

Is it only certain shops? Does it happen only after a regular boot or Friday backup boot or on zone pop? Are shops coded but the items they sell mobol? Something must have changed to cause it… how odd.
