Because it's totally normal if you type one command that a whole bunch of other things randomly and automatically changes too. :roll:

Note, it can't sheathe javelins because there is no javelins in the list I can use to make sheaths. Oversight, I guess.

The fixed cloak seems to not sheath as many things, as I couldn't sheath an emerald hilted foil, and could do so earlier today. Not a big problem at all though, since I just bought a sword sheath which can sheath the sword, be equipped to the mob, and be properly drawn from.

Also, fixed the cloaks, which were somehow preventing the mob from drawing the weapon from it:
You wear a cloak of thick wool around your body.

* HP:Hurt MV:Full >
You wield a blackened steel kris.

* HP:Hurt MV:Full > sheath
You sheath a blackened steel kris into a cloak of thick wool.

* HP:Hurt MV:Full > rem cloak
You stop using a cloak of thick wool.

* HP:Hurt MV:Full > eq hired cloak
You equip a hired mercenary with a cloak of thick wool.

* HP:Hurt MV:Full > TICK IN 5 SECONDS.

Wimpy reset to: 181 hit points.
You miss your kick at the ancient tree's groin, much to its relief...

* HP:Hurt MV:Full - the ancient tree: Scratched >
The ancient tree tickles your head with its hit.
The ancient tree joins the ancient tree's fight!
A hired mercenary joins your fight!

* HP:Wounded MV:Full - the ancient tree: Scratched >
A hired mercenary pierces the ancient tree's roots very hard.
The ancient tree tickles your body with its hit.
The ancient tree tickles your body with its hit.

My hired mercenary can emote, but yeah, seems to respond to all orders, including wearing gear, with the double "Ok." now. (I did the cloak workaround, but doesn't help if you can't make it wear the cloak!)

But you also cannot order it to, in no particular order:

1) give you stuff
2) drop stuff
3) assist you or others
4) kill stuff
5) they wont emote stuff

etc etc

basically: they are in this incarnation pretty much useless for anything other then just... standing there?

That's how this version works. It won't sit, rest, sleep:
