Can confirm, this was here since implementation of the zone.

No one really goes there much, except those who have gate. Tariq is literally the worst smob in the Southeast in that the sharan desert sucks balls to traverse.

Been like this since it was released, I'm guessing it was easier to copy whatever the blight heat function is than recreate it and call it something else for this zone only.
