So, weirdly, you were maybe in my group for the first couple of kills but I was not in yours, however that works.

That's a weird read. It would make more sense if I didn't get XP while I was unengaged, but I did get XP while I was engaged. Should note this is 3x so the 3k hit on Najdeer makes sense.

Generally pointing out the lack of a kill message counting toward my own trophy and the trophy not building until the end. Only thing that changed was an undead mob.

But maybe it's a DIKU hold-over. But, the mobs assisted the same way an ancient tree set does and I was on the leader of that group which in your example would be the aggressive person as opposed to the group member in waiting. Don't know though. Keep your eyes peeled for missing death messages!

it also helps to be engaged on said target when it dies. There are certain measures in place in the DIKU engine to prevent funneling xp into AFKs, even if those are from a pre-xp scalp era, and I am pretty sure that is one of them. If you are grouped with somebody and they are just afk, killing something in the room won't get them xp -- but if it is something like a pair of trees and the one that assists engages said AFK person, then they get their xp split.

Could have been something weird with me buffing an undead mob ? Or being engaged? It is the only thing that changed between me not getting credit for group kills, and getting credit for group kills.

Will pay more attention to this and try to re-create, was just very obvious in this situation and curious to hear thoughts.
