Summary

The Shining Walls of Tar Valon had laid under siege for what had seemed to be untold hours as waves of Darkspawn and one craft murderer seemed to almost be taking turns in trying to claim the lives of some of the Towers youngest and most sensitive to danger. After fending off yet another wave, Giuseppe walked the city ensuring there were no enemies hidden in shadows, and came across the square where he noticed two familiar Accepted and a Gleewoman he had recently met emotionally supporting a Novice he had not seen before. Though the Novice gave off obvious sense of both fear and nervousness, she was attempting to face them by boldy and diligently continuing her tasks to her best of her abilities even in a volatile and dangerous situation. Sensing the immediate danger had passed, he swaggered towards them in an attempt go give off an air of confidence and calm to help but the Novice's mind at ease.

Perenelle looks at Giuseppe, closely, as if waiting to see if anything happens.

Vala looks at the gleeman.

Perenelle blushes.

Maddy says 'no I did not make this.'

Perenelle says 'No, that's mine. Sorry, I'm still um...learning.'

Astrid says 'Mate it's just origami it's not a secret'

Perenelle says 'Its mostly good if you ignore the clumpy bits.'

You say 'Say if this is before your learning you may have missed your true calling by joining the
tower. It is fantastic. '

Astrid says 'Two of em?'

Astrid gasps in astonishment.

Maddy puts her arm around Perenelle, squeezing her shoulders giving her a smile of encouragement

Maddy says 'I had never done chores or cooked anything before coming here.'

Maddy says 'I actually don't mind them. specially dishes, I love having clean hands'

You say 'They did tell you that the clumpy bits are called sausages and that is the intended texture
right?'

Perenelle says 'Cleaning and cooking, no. Lifting, moving, setting things out and putting stuff
away again, loads.'

You say 'Without going into to much detail, they basically take many aspects of pork, grind it down,
and then clump it together in a tube made from... you know what, a tasty lining. '

Giuseppe his face had a confused look on his face. He had seen much of power he didn't
understand since being selected as an apprentice, but he was thinking this may be the most mysterious
power yet.

Giuseppe has he said the 2nd part he smirked and lowered his voice while looking more
serious.

You say 'Of course Gleewoman. '

You say 'The third is just as important, the pleasure of food and drink. '

Maddy pulls a jar of salve from her pocket, handing it to Perenelle, 'My home made concoction,
please let me know if you like and I will make sure you get more.'

Astrid says 'Now it's four'

Giuseppe waves of his hand carelessly.

You say 'Food and drink are interchangeable or combined together, they are the same thing. What is
food with no drinks? A tease. What is drink with no food? I can't tell you, i never remember
those nights. '

Astrid grins at you.

Giuseppe takes a look at the novice after bantering with the gleewoman.

Perenelle takes the jar and rubs the salve over her hands and sighs, happily.

You say 'So tell me youngin I have not met, if you knew no work before coming, what is it that
brought you joy before the tower.'

Perenelle snickers a little at Giuseppe's quip.

Perenelle says 'Oh I knew work, just not cleaning and cooking. Travelling merchant's daughter.'

Perenelle says 'But we stopped at lots of taverns and inns, and well, had a cook along with us for
food.'

You whisper to Astrid 'Speaking of drink, its hard to get as much as I'd like while under so many
mentors eyes, you happen to have something that can fill my soul?'

You grin evilly.

Vala says 'You've improved quite a bit then. This is pretty good.'

Perenelle says 'Mostly small towns and villages. So horses, loading and unloading wagons, setting
out goods, keeping filchers away.'

You say 'I too have spent much time on the road, and no matter the speed of the wagon or quality fo
the raods, it is impossible to make the inns every night, who cooked then?'

Giuseppe gestures to the gleewoman, as if highlighting the importance of food.

Perenelle says 'Well, I suppose mom at first until....anyway, Dad got cook as I said. I was too
young.'

You say 'Goes to show you that it is never too early to start learning how to cook. '

Perenelle says 'Wasn't always comfortable on the road but good enough and he did well enough to get
to bigger towns and even cities now and again.'

Perenelle nods in agreement.

Perenelle says 'Well, that's what Mistress Laras said to me too.'

Giuseppe he put on a huge grin and attempted to look as charming and mischievous as he
could at the same time.

You say 'She must be a great mind, a woman who truly knows how to make a man smile. '

Giuseppe looked around and the ladies who had thought were part of the conversation and
noticed their glazed over eyes. He started to come to a realization likely a bit late.

Perenelle says 'Mistress Laras?'

Vala says 'You mean Mistress Laras, Giuseppe?'

Vala snickers softly.

Maddy flashes Giuseppe an appreciative smile before taking a sip from the fountain.

You nod at her.

Perenelle lays back on the bench and laughs.

You say 'Should I know her?'

Maddy says 'oh Boboliosie is back'

Perenelle says 'She runs the kitchens in the Tower.'

Maddy says 'Giuesppe what do you suggest we do for Perenelles safety.'

Perenelle says 'Well, I was going to head into the quarters.'

Giuseppe for the slightest moment a concerned look crossed his eyes before he quickly
tried to hide it under teh pretence of charm and a smile.

Maddy says 'Care he hides there at the entrance'

Perenelle nods nervously.

You say 'Well,then that goes to show you that someone else thinks the exact same thing I do!
Feeding all of you, and all of us in training, with this high level food. We never trained with
food like this when I first started out! '

Maddy nudges Giuseppe, 'Perhaps Perenelle should have an escort to her rooms?'

Vala nods in agreement.

You say 'of course, please clear it with the Sedai for me. '

You say 'I don't know the tower, and I've never been in this deep, and I do not want to get in
trouble'

Maddy frowns "Are you saying I am old?'

You say 'Please...'

Maddy nods in agreement.

Vala says 'It's fine, don't worry about it.'

Maddy says 'Thank you we will report your graciousness.'

You say 'Look, I know I had my axe on me, but just throwing me on a trip deep into the tower were
most men aren't allowed with no warning!

You sigh.

You say 'Now I really need a drink. '

You say 'Luckily I know exactly where to find one. '

Maddy says 'Oh I think a Tower wanted that hunts Novice and Accepted would make it ok.'

Maddy grins at you.

Giuseppe flashes a quick grin towards the women.

You say 'with Master Coulin here I could use a break, Yes, something has come up, I'll be back
soon. Master Coulin please make sure they don't go far! Thank you sir! '

Giuseppe; with a flick of his hand heads south.
