Divina Sedai happens to notice Novice Wanda diligently working through her daily chores in the kitchen under the watchful eye of Mistress Laras. Having recently read about the exploits of Novice Wanda with Asandra Sedai and her learnings on the Three Oaths, Divina decides to drop in for an unscheduled visit and in between creates a little mayhem whilst departing some worldly advice on saidar, the three oaths and expectations of an Accepted.

Wanda scrubs the dirty dishes in the sink.

Wanda curtseys before Divina.

Divina smiles happily.

Divina says 'Hello Dear'

Divina says 'Sink seems to be empty'

Wanda says 'How are you today?'

Wanda looks surprised

Wanda says 'finally'

Wanda wipes her brow and massages her back.

Divina says 'I am well. How are you and more importantly how goes your studies?'

Wanda says 'I am learning well Aes Sedai'

Wanda says 'Well I think I am'

Wanda says 'you dont know what you dont know'

Divina says 'That is good to hear'

Divina says 'Far too often we see girls here flailing about like chickens with their heads cut off'

Wanda rmembers looking like a chicken herself.

Wanda says 'I have learned somethig new'

Divina steadies herself for anything.

Wanda tries to relax.

Divina senses Wanda connecting to the True Source.

Divina says 'Bare with me a minute. I wish to test something'

Divina departs quickly to confer with Sheriam Sedai on a matter of most importance.

Wanda patiently twiddles her thumbs.

Divina returns with a flourish of skirts and shawl.

Divina feels the flows of saidar coursing through her body.

Divina weave flows of Spirit around your eyes so that you may see more clearly.

Divina says 'Ok now please show me again your new ability'

Wanda nods in agreement.

Divina senses Wanda connecting to the True Source.

Divina senses Wanda is channeling saidar.

An iridescent blue staff forms in Wanda's hands.

Divina says 'Well isn't that something indeed.'

Wanda smiles happily.

Divina says 'a staff of iridescent blue ..It glows blue!'

Wanda says 'I think its kind of pretty'

Divina says 'It seems the weave itself blends fire and spirit around the formation of the staff.'

Divina says 'That is very intriguing as its actually multiple subflows formed into one complex form.'

Wanda says 'you have a keener eye than me Aes Sedai'

The elemental staff held by Wanda dissipates.

Divina says 'These old eyes are still as sharp as a hawk.'

Divina says 'I would suggest you keep up your practice on that flow dear.'

Wanda says 'I cannot maintain it for very long however, do you think it will last longer as I advance?'

Divina says 'As you say, it may come very handy if you ever travel the lands as a representative of the White Tower.'

Divina says 'That particular weave is one of the more complex to weave the flows and maintain which is why you have noticed that you cannot maintain it for much a period.'

Divina says 'Even the strongest of us find it difficult to control for extended periods.'

Wanda says 'I see, well I'll do my best'

Divina says 'And speaking of doing your best.'

Divina says 'I hear you recently had an encounter with Asandra Sedai.'

Wanda says 'Oh I did Divina Sedai'

Divina says 'Any particular learnings from that you might wish to discuss with me.'

Wanda says 'I learned that nothing is a test and everything is a test, whatever that means'

A young Tower Guard says 'Isn't there some kind of oath about Thou shall not make sweet cakes with the one power?'

Wanda says 'I also learned I really need to study to ensure I remember the oaths to the letter'

Wanda says 'I believe Im getting there'

Divina says 'Yes, those oaths... whatever they might be.'

Divina says 'Strange foreign things to us all when we were first in Novice White.'

Wanda says 'I believe I can recount them properly now'

Divina says 'Would you so indulge me then.'

Wanda says 'Though shalt not make sweet cakes with the one power'

Wanda gives an impish grin. How adorable.

Wanda says 'Im sorry'

Wanda says 'I couldnt but bite at that'

Divina cackles gleefully.

Wanda tries to be sensible.

Divina says 'I shall forgive you but it would be wise to consider your words closely in future.'

Wanda says 'to speak no word that is not true'

Divina says 'Considering the first oath is kind of central to you.'

Wanda says 'to make no weapon with which one man may kill another'

A young Tower Guard gets a mean look in his eye as he brandishes his weapon.

Wanda says 'Not to use the one power as a weapon except against shadowspawn, or in the last defense of my life, the life of my warder, or that of another Sister'

Wanda says 'I do take this seriously Aes Sedai'

Divina says 'I am pleased to hear you say that.'

Divina says 'A lack of seriousness is an easy way to stay in novice white.'

Divina says 'If you wish to be considered as an Accepted you need to show that you can meet the challenges and responsibilities that are expected of girls at that status.'

Wanda says 'can you tell me more of what is expected of an Accepted Divina Sedai?'

Divina's eyes seem less attuned to seeing the True Source.

Divina says 'Now that is a good question.'

Divina says 'Over the years the definition has become so muddied that if you ask any Aes Sedai you might here different expectations.'

Divina says 'Of course, to start there is a basic general expectation of any potential Journey Accepted in the White Tower handbook.'

Divina says 'But that is aesthetic requirements. Do this, meet this benchmark etc. '

Divina says 'What the Handbook fails to delve in detail is the emotional and intelligence expectations.'

Wanda hangs on Divina's every word.

Divina says 'Being Accepted means that you have grown inside yourself as a woman to new strengths and convictions that you never thought possible.'

Divina says 'Girls who become Accepted believe in themselves, are able to face challenges and undertake tasks without fear of the unknown.'

Divina says 'They are mentally prepared to think quickly and approach adversity from different viewpoints.'

Divina says 'Many a girl never obtain the status of Accepted and those are the girls that cannot adapt within themselves.'

Divina says 'That you have come this far Novice Wanda shows me that you are well on your way to your own awakening within yourself.'

Divina says 'The chances that there is still more to come for you is promising.'

Wanda says 'When do you think I will be ready to face my fears Aes Sedai?'

Wanda looks at the new dishes on the sink and hides a groan.

Divina says 'I do not think it will be that long dear. If you keep up your good work around the tower then it will be soon.'

Divina says 'Might I make a recommendation though if you wish to hear it.'

Karens has arrived from the west.

Karens curtseys gracefully.

Karens says 'Is it that time of the day'

Wanda says 'Of course Aes Sedai'

A young Tower Guard gets a stack of dirty dishes from a large sink.

There is an ear splitting crash as a stack of dishes hits the floor.

Laras the Mistress of the Kitchens bellows 'Karens, watch what you are doing!'

Karens blinks her eyes innocently.

Karens says 'it's been a while'

Karens scrubs the dirty dishes in the sink.

Laras the Mistress of the Kitchens takes clean dishes from the drainboard and puts them in a cupboard.

Divina says 'Oh my that was not meant to happen'

Divina says 'I am deeply sorry for that Karens'

Karens says 'All done though!'

Karens says 'No problem at all Aes Sedai.'

Divina says 'My guard should not have been so clumsy'

Karens says 'It fell'

Divina scolds a young Tower Guard.

Karens says 'Can happen'

Wanda says 'Hello Accepted'

Karens says 'Nice seeing you Novice Wanda'

Karens says 'How are things going?'

Wanda says 'things are going well'

Karens says 'Good, good.'

Karens says 'The Tower holds no secrets for you anymore?'

Wanda says 'I am not naive enough to believe that'

Karens says 'Neither do I think I've seen most of it yet.'

Karens says 'Not to forget some places we only go once or twice in our life.'

Karens whispers to Novice Wanda, "like the arches!!"

Wanda says 'Your advice Aes Sedai?'

Karens says 'I do believe some secrets are a bit more public, like a fountain with statues.'

Divina says 'Interesting you bring that up Karens.'

Karens says 'Oh, I barged in on something.'

Karens says 'Sorry.'

Divina says 'We were just talking about the process of a girl to get to that particular place.'

Karens says 'It's great and terrifying at once.'

Divina says 'If you may Karens. Please continue on with your studies this day.'

Karens nods in agreement.

Karens curtseys gracefully.

Karens leaves west.

Divina says 'Now that was quite ironic and timed.'

Divina says 'My advice to you Wanda is to engage with your fellow novices and accepted somewhat.'

Divina says 'The White Tower is a family and your fellow novices now may one day be your fellow sisters.'

Wanda says 'I am making friends among the Accepted, however I have not encountered many Novices Aes Sedai'

Wanda says 'I will try though'

Divina says 'It was a very nice to meet you today Wanda.'

Divina says 'I wish you the best in your studies and hope to see you around the library someday.'

Wanda says 'thank you for your attention Divina Sedai'
