Maddy coughs softly behind her gloved hand.

Aine says 'What -do- they let you do in the Tower?'

Aine says 'Most girls I see are on the verge of a nervous breakdown.'

Aine says 'So much stress. They could benefit from a good smoke.'

Fuujin says 'There are other ways for the ladies to de-stress there.'

Maddy says 'I mostly learn and share what I have learned with the other Novices and Accepted.'

Aine rifles in her bag for a small packet of crushed, dried leaf.

Kenob shivers uncomfortably.

Kenob says 'Sounds an awful lot like work.'

Fuujin says 'I'm sure you'd find it so.'

Maddy scrunches her nose in preparation for the smell.

Kenob says 'Much better to just stand and make sure the stone stays standing.'

Aine pulls the packet out with a victorious smile. She slips into the space between Fuujin and Kenob.

A Defender of the Stone gets out a fan and starts blowing the smoke away from Maddy and Fuujin.

Aine slides the packet into Kenob's bag and whispers 'For later, to add to your collection.'

Aine winks at Kenob.

Maddy smiles at Fuujin.

Maddy leans over to pat her horse firmly on the neck, then returns her attention to the conversation.

Aine says 'Take Maddy for instance.'

Aine says 'All she does is teach and learn.'

Fuujin looks Maddy over.

Aine says 'And they sometimes let her out to do what?'

Aine says 'Hunt criminals.'

Aine says 'Such negativity!'

Maddy looks at the Wisdom and smiles.

Fuujin says 'She works hard. That's something to be proud of.'

Aine says 'Yes, but all work and no play... as they say.'

Aine scratches her head, confused.

Aine nods to herself, she must need reassurance.

Fuujin says 'Sounds like something someone who is all play and no work would say.'

Aine says 'My work, in Kenob's hands, is testament to the contrary, my Lady.'

Aine takes a bow.

Kenob says 'Is that anyway to talk to our new wisdom???'

Aine whispers to Fuujin 'I would only entertain it because you're Saldaean. But I'm spoken for, otherwise.'

Maddy says 'Actually I came specifically to Tear to buy this wonderful horse.'

Maddy says 'I do admire your Bloodstocks.'

Aine says 'Maddy are you a purveyor or horseflesh?'

Aine says 'Is that right? Perveyor?'

Aine says 'no'

Kenob says ' Guessing she's a purveyor and not horseflesh, would be weird if she was horseflesh.'

Maddy says 'I do love riding, but I would not consider myself an expert.'

Aine says 'Maddy, did you grow up around horses for sport? '

Aine says 'I grew up around horses that worked the farm.'

Aine glances back at Fuujin and grins.

Fuujin looks at a Defender of the Stone.

Aine looks at Maddy.

Maddy says 'Yes, my family had a large farm outside Cairhien and I rode often.'

Aine says 'Ohhh, Cairhien?'

Aine says 'Well.'

Maddy nods in agreement.

Aine says 'My um, I know someone with ties in Cairhien.'

Aine says 'I've not seen him in ages.'

Aine says 'Too long.'

Maddy nods in agreement.

A Defender of the Stone stops fanning Maddy and Fuujin, his arms falling limp by his side.

Maddy thanks the Defender of the Stone heartily.

Maddy says 'Thank you very much Sir,'

Kenob hands a tightly wrapped cigar to Brock.

A Defender of the Stone glances at Fuujin with fear in his eyes and shakes his head, pushing the cigar away from him.

Fuujin issues the order 'whisper Kenob Not here, not while in front of her!'.

A Defender of the Stone whispers something to Kenob.

Aine twirls the cigar in her hand and lifts it to her nose. She inhales tentatively.

Kenob grins evilly.

Kenob claps a Defender of the Stone on the back.

Aine mumbles something that sounds like 'spicy'

Aine says 'Do you miss Cairhien, Accepted?'

Maddy sneezes gently into her arm and says, "Excuse me please.'

Aine nods in agreement.

Aine looks down at her cigar and tucks it away.

Fuujin sits down and rests.

Maddy looks relieved, as she takes a big breath of fresh air.

Aine says 'I don't miss my hometown.
Because I'm often there anyway. Andor.'

Aine says 'I don't go to Cairhien much though.'

Maddy says 'I have not been home yet since I joined the Tower.'

Kenob says 'Ah well, as Pappy used to say, if life was fair horses would get to ride half the time.'

Aine says 'I think we'll sit this one out.'
