Tower Square
This side of the square is the southern section of the Tower Square.
In the center is the walled off White Tower. To the south a large
boulevard opens up leading to the Southharbor. To the north you see
the southern gate of the Tower grounds. The square continues east
and west.

Roughly-hewn stumps of alder and leatherleaf litter the forest floor, their
wood cracked by winter ice and baked in the summer sun, unprotected by
their mantle of leaves. Thin saplings push up from the soil, new life
sprouting amidst the ruin of the old. To the north, a series of strange
structures rise from the ground, disturbing the order of the forest.

A Ridge in the Forest
Rising like a breaching whale from the forest to the east and stretching
sinuously to the west the ridge watches over the valley like a kingfisher
over a stream. The ground is stony, fertile soil washed from the ridge and
to the south by the rains. A few scraggly bushes cling desperately to the
rocky ground, lending the only hint of greenery to the barren ridge.

Trees Shroud the Sky
The forest presses in from all sides, close and claustrophobic. The
surrounding trees grow so near one another as to be enmeshed, their trunks
curved around each other like lovers, tightly woven branches blotting the
sky from view. Nothing grows beneath the trees' boughs, their greed for the
sun leaving the suffering ground lifeless, littered only with black decay.

clusters and small forests. The ancient giants spread their branches into

A Road Through Growing Woods
Trees grow thicker and closer together this near to the barely visible
wall. To the north west the forest is thick enough to halt travel to the
wall and to the south the trees taper off. Between the fading growth a wide
river is visible past a stony beach.

The huge stretch of water froths and bubbles as it turns around the smooth
stones dotting the river. Huge stones worn smooth by the passing water make
a path heading east and west and the rushing water comes right to the edge.
To the east the road rises toward a steep rock face.

Channeler Sparring Log - Reshaping the pattern

I put pen to paper to note that, following a conversation with Ashlynn Sedai, I was instructed to seek sparring opportunities with fellow Novices, Accepted, and Aes Sedai. So, I've dragged myself away from my beloved books in order to gain some skill in combat, which I intend to use on bookworms, mice, and other creatures of the dark. Maybe even a trolloc or 2?

I intend to maintain this diary of my duels, which i will use to better understand and (hopefully) improve for the Light, for the White Tower, and for myself!
