Kitiara, Jenda, Etaina and Relena Sedai all wait for the opportunity to carry out the stilling and execution of Darkfriend Nasira...

OOC - She did not log on. So its just a handful of Aes Sedai waiting around a darkroom to avoid notice. Included because It is kind of funny and Elysia ended up doing the stilling behind the scenes.

The Traitors' Court
This grim, stoney courtyard is surrounded by smooth walls at least four
spans high. An archway leads into the Tower proper, shuttered by thick
oaken doors strengthened by steel bands. Only a fountain adorns the court,
spilling its water into a reflection of the grim walls and the shining
white beacon that is the White Tower.

Kitiara says 'just following the mobel per elysia, i imagine it does stilling first, i will confirm'

Kitiara says 'acutally no... the same order is fine.'

Kitiara says 'her words of submitting to the hall is what triggers the stilling.. then u call verdict. and then execute'

Kitiara says 'So I will summon her, then tell her to submit to the Hall and give her the syntax... that will still her, then Jenda will read the verdict and I will execute her.'

The Amyrlin's Study
This room is ornate, having belonged to the generations of woman who have
worn the striped stole of the Amyrlin. The tall fireplace and broad cold,
hearth were all carved golden marble from Kandor, and the diamond-shaped
floor tiles, polished redstone from the Mountains of Mist. The walls are
panels of some striped wood, hard as iron and carved in fantastic beasts
and birds of unbelievable plumage, panels brought from the lands beyond
the Aiel Waste by the Sea Folk before Artur Hawkwing was born. Above, no
ceiling hinders the view of the sky, yet the occasional rain and snow
never enter through the ceiling's opening. Tall, arched windows open onto
a balcony overlooking the private garden.

Jenda drops into a curtsey to the Amyrlin.

Siuan Sanche finishes her letter and puts down her quill.

Siuan Sanche pours some sand over the ink to let it dry, turning her gaze to her visitors.

Kitaira adjusts her shawl slightly waiting for Siuan.

Siuan Sanche says 'I would ask how the investigation is going, but I expect it to be Sealed to the Hall still?'

Jenda smooths her long black hair.

Jenda says 'We are in need of more information, Mother. '

Kitaira says 'Mother is privy to all things sealed to the Hall no? '

Siuan Sanche pushes her chair back and stands, walking towards the golden marble fireplace.

Kitaira says 'I think we not need be in the room to respect its seal.'

Jenda shakes her head.

Jenda says 'She is not, Sister. '

Siuan Sanche says 'The Hall can have its own meetings, although I must be notified once the Hall sits. In this case though, given I am a party in this investigation...'

Jenda stops using a yellow fringed shawl.

Siuan Sanche chuckles lightly 'I have stayed out of it.'

Jenda says 'The information ... '

Kitaira shrugs non committally and says, 'We do have a brief question for you, and Anaiya tells me Lelaine may have more information to share.'

Jenda gives a meaningful look to Kitiara.

Siuan Sanche turns to face you both. 'However, I will give the Hall my fullest cooperation.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Siuan Sanche nods and says 'Well, cast out your nets then.'

Jenda lifts her chin and hawkish nose, 'The girl's story has evolved, Mother.'

Kitaira says 'The Accepted claims she never actually met with you on either occasions of her requesting an audience and Shadowspawn entering.'

Siuan Sanche purses her lips and frowns.

Siuan Sanche says 'I have little recollection of the first event, but I do not believe I saw her the second time.'

Jenda says 'She requested an Audience and left once the door was open yes? '

Siuan Sanche says 'Lelaine entered the room and informed me that the Accepted, Nasira, had requested an audience.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Siuan Sanche's brow furrows as she recollects 'However, after Lelaine stepped out, I do not think she entered here. The next thing I know was spikes of ice being flung my way.

Kitaira frowns.

Jenda nods in agreement.

Siuan Sanche leans forward slightly and asks 'Does that answer your question, Daughters?'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Jenda says 'For me it does, Mother. '

Kitaira says 'As well for me.'

Jenda looks at Siuan Sanche.

Kitaira says 'The Hall will be meeting soon on the matter.'

Siuan Sanche walks towards the windows and stares into her private garden, before saying 'Such a shame that it came to this.'

Jenda sweeps into a respectful curtsey upon leaving the room.

Kitaira says 'The shadow grows more bold Mother.'

Siuan Sanche turns and says 'And that is why the world needs the Tower, to be a guiding light.'

Jenda says 'ooc well i thought we were leaving but i already emoted that so i iguess jenda isn't here haha'

Kitaira says 'Indeed Mother.'

Siuan Sanche says 'Continue with your investigation.'

Kitaira says 'With you leave? We have a question for your Keeper.'

Kitaira says 'We should exit please.'

Siuan Sanche says 'Carry on with your duties, Kitiara.'

Anteroom of the Keeper
This anteroom is the office of the Keeper of the Chronicles, who oversees
the secretarial duties for the Amyrlin Seat. The Keeper's desk, made in a
style typical of Bandar Eban, is in impeccable order with various papers
stacked to the side to provide a large area for writing. A deep red carpet
covers the floor and one small window, set in a stone wall with wood trim,
offers a view of the city of Tar Valon, its spires reaching for the sky.

Jenda says 'I still do not know what was in that letter. '

Jenda smirks.

Lelaine Akashi says 'I regret to inform you that my initial report regarding Nasira's actions was incorrect.'

Erulisse has arrived from the north.

Jenda nods in agreement.

Lelaine Akashi says 'Even I am not immune to being flustered, it would seem.'

Erulisse greets Jenda with a light kiss on her cheek.

Kitaira holds up a hand to Lelaine

Lelaine Akashi says 'It shames me to my bones, as a Blue. However, the girl Nasira suddenly appeared in my room, requested an audience and promptly vanished into thing air.'

Lelaine Akashi says 'She never did enter Mother's room. However, as soon as she had disappeared, the dreadlord marched straight into the Study.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Kitaira nods in understanding

Lelaine Akashi lowers her eyes and says 'I will request Sheriam for a penance for misinforming the Hall.'

Jenda smirks.

Jenda says 'Sheriam does give a good spanking when you need one. '

Kitaira says 'A small mistake that likely will not change much. But the correction will be noted. '

Lelaine Akashi says 'It is only just that the truth comes out.'

Kitaira 's mouth twitches towards a frown.

Jenda says 'Sometimes Marshall just doesn't have the skill with the switch..'

Jenda ponders life, the universe, and everything.

Kitaira nods at her.

Lelaine Akashi releases the ward.

Kitaira says 'Anything else of note with the girl, any memory of the first time she requested an audience and allowed shadowspawn to enter?'

The warder frowns.

Lelaine Akashi says 'I cannot recall, if I'm honest. I believe Mother was gravely injured that day and only saved through the Yellows' Healing.'

Inside the Cell
Cut from the rock that forms the very foundation of the island of Tar
Valon, this cell's walls and floor consist of roughly chiseled stone. A
thick wooden door with iron bands resting on well oiled hinges lies to the
south. Not a single ray of light penetrates the dark of this cell. A cot
lies on the ground next to a wobbly stool.

Jenda says lowly, "Save your tears... Sister. I will begin."

Jenda says 'Nasira you will answer our questions truthfully. and simply. without meandering or silly embelishment, yes? '

Nasira says 'Yes, Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda says 'Good. How long have you been a darkfriend? '

Nasira says 'I am not a darkfriend, and never have been.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Jenda says 'How long have you been working with darkfriends?'

Nasira says 'I have never knowingly worked with darkfriends.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Kitaira says 'Accepted...'

Jenda says 'And where are you from, Child? '

Jenda looks over to Kitiara.

Kitaira says 'Answer her last question. '

Nasira says 'I have communicated with a woman who I had thought to be an Aes Sedai, for about 3 months.'

Kitaira nods and motions to Jenda.

Jenda says 'And where are you from..? '

Nasira says 'I'm from a farm near Tear.'

Jenda says 'mhm And how long have you been an Accepted in the White Tower? '

Nasira says 'For many years now, Jenda Sedai..I am not sure as to the exact number.'

Jenda says 'Give an estimate. Three years? thirty? '

Jenda arches an eyebrow.

Nasira says 'I would guess about 10 years.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Jenda says 'In you time as an accepted, have you ever fought against the shadow, male channelers, or other darkfriends? '

Nasira says 'Many times, Jenda Sedai. I have helped or directly slain many of the shadow, including the highest of the Dreadlords and the "Chosen"'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Jenda says 'And you would say that you were competent in these battles? '

Nasira says 'Many times yes, Jenda Sedai, but we all make mistakes sometimes.'

Nasira says 'I can't say I was always competent.'

Nasira blushes.

Jenda says 'So it would reasonable to say you know what Darkfriends are? Do you? '

Nasira says 'I have never dealt or fought any Darkfriends, Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda says 'Do you know what darkfriends are? '

Nasira says 'Only Trollocs, Fades, and Dreadlords.'

Nasira says 'I believe so..I had heard stories of people who helped the Shadow, but never met any myself.'

Jenda says 'Do you know that darkfriends manipulate through lies and blackmail and more to get what they want? '

Nasira says 'I mostly have studied in the Tower and have not met many people outside of those in Fal Dara while directly in battles and those in the Tower.'

Nasira says 'That makes sense, Jenda Sedai..but I have not had contact with any myself that I know of.'

Jenda says 'But you do know that they lie and so forth. '

Nasira says 'Certainly, it is logical that they must lie to stay hidden.'

Nasira nods in agreement.

Jenda says 'Do you know that what they want is to cause discord, loss of life and weaken the forces of the light, etc? '

Jenda says 'because that is what the Shadow wants'

Jenda says 'and they serve the shadow'

Nasira says 'That makes sense, Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda says 'Do you know this? '

Jenda says 'This is not a lesson, girl. we are not in a classroom. '

Nasira says 'Yes, I think I know this Jenda Sedai.'

Nasira says 'But again, I haven't directly experienced it, only through lessons.'

Jenda says 'alright. and thus you know that harming the Amyrlin Seat would serve to sow chaos and would be a great blow to the Light Fearing world? '

Nasira says 'Absolutely, Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Jenda says 'good'

Jenda says 'Do you agree that the process of requesting meetings and having locked doors serves, among many reasons, to protect the Mother from assault from shadowspawn and other darkfriends? '

Jenda says 'A simple yes or no will suffice. '

Nasira says 'No, I did not know that. I thought it was to prevent people from bothering Mother. I didn't know that Shadowspawn frequented the White Tower.'

Jenda smirks.

Jenda says 'An accepted of ten years did not know this? fascinating. '

Nasira says 'I have never seen a Shadowspawn in the Tower, Jenda Sedai. I thought we were safe here.'

Jenda smirks.

Jenda says 'So then would you agree that you subverted reasonable protocol, which whether or not you knew, serves to keep the Amyrlin Seat protected from assault at the bidding of a shadowy, hooded stranger to compromise the Amyrlin Seat?'

Jenda says 'again, a simple yes or no will do. '

Nasira says 'I am sorry Jenda Sedai, I don't understand the question.'

Jenda says 'Do you agree that your actions subverted the means of keeping the Mother safe. '

Nasira says 'I believed I was following a direct order from an Aes Sedai, Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda laughs softly.

Jenda says 'Whether or not you thought that. Did your actions lead to the Amyrlin being attacked? '

Nasira says 'In hindsight, yes my actions put Mother in danger, which I regret deeply. But I did not know that my actions would lead to that.'

Jenda says 'And you did this with the promise to keep it secret from Aes Sedai. Who could have helped your brother and protected you and more. '

Nasira says 'I had done it once before, and I had not heard anything bad come from it.'

Jenda says 'But you kept it secret and this darkfriend's bidding'

Nasira says 'The Aes Sedai I thought was talking to promised to keep my brother safe, JEnda Sedai.'

Nasira says 'Have you heard from him? Is he ok?'

Nasira says 'Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda says 'A shadowy woman who hid her face. Yes .I read your letters. You did promise to keep it secret from Aes Sedai, however? '

Jenda says 'I care not for your degenerate brother. Your soul is at stake here. '

Nasira says 'She told me to tell no-one.'

Nasira says 'I fear for my brother's life, Jenda Sedai.'

Nasira sobs quietly.

Jenda says 'And you did in fact tell no one. Right. I am establishing facts. not stories'

Nasira says 'I did not tell anyone, but Lelaine Sedai and the other sisters guarding Mother must have seen what happened the first time around.'

Jenda nods at Kitaira.

Jenda says 'Was this the first time, girl? '

Nasira says 'I requested an audience twice.'

Jenda says 'And both times Jestin came in to assault the Mother ? '

Nasira says 'The first time, I didn't hear that anything had happened.'

Nasira says 'The second time is the time we are talking about now.'

Jenda says 'But you know that it did. '

Jenda smirks at the girl with unveiled disgust.

Nasira says 'After I was put in my cell, I was told that both times the Dreadlord assaulted Mother.'

Kitaira arches an eyebrow.

Nasira says 'I did not know that after the first time.'

Jenda shakes her head.

Jenda says 'This establishes that you did quite know and understand what you were doing. Sister. I am through. '

Nasira says 'I am confused as to why the sisters guarding Mother did not notify others after the first time.'

Nasira says 'But I did not, Jenda Sedai.'

Jenda says 'Speak when spoken to. '

Nasira says 'This doesn't establish anything, I only found out after the second time.'

Jenda nods at Kitaira.

Nasira says 'Yes, Jenda Sedai.'

Kitaira says 'Accepted, who told you about the first attack? Who have you spoken to other than us since you entered your cell?'

Nasira says 'The guards told me, Kitiara Sedai.'

Nasira says 'And I have had letters.'

Nasira says 'It has been big news in the Tower, as I"m sure you know, Aes Sedai.'

Kitaira nods to herself as she leaves the wall by the door, pacing around the Accepted awhile she talks.

Jenda takes her post against the cell wall, drawing her shawl around her body.

Jenda whispers to you, 'i'm quite sure but not certain these guards are instructed to not speak to the prisoners. '

Kitaira says 'Accepted, in you first letter you mentioned your brother instructing you to follow instructions when someone reached out.'

Nasira says 'Yes, that is true, Kitiara Sedai.'

Kitaira says 'You then mentioned a hooded woman who approached you with these instructions.'

Nasira nods in agreement.

Kitaira says 'Accepted you have been in the Tower quite a long time, 10 years or so as you said earlier... were you able to sense this womans ability to channel?'

Nasira says 'Yes, she could channel, Kitiara Sedai...one of hte reasons I believed her to be an Aes Sedai.'

Kitaira says 'So, a hooded woman who could channel, gave you instructions to open the door to Mothers chambers and if you did not follow these instructions... quote 'Things could get really bad for him' Him being your brother?'

Nasira says 'Yes, my brother told me that things would be bad if I didn't help.'

Jenda laughs softly.

Nasira brushes away a tear.

Kitaira says 'A slight difference than the words of your letter... ' If I did what he said, he would be out of trouble, but if I didn’t, things could get really bad for him.''

Nasira says 'Yes, that is what I said, Kitiara Sedai.'

Nasira says 'Sorry, I did not remember why exact wording in the letter.'

Jenda says 'Allow me? '

Kitaira says 'That is not that same as if you did not help, that suggests if you did not follow the instructions bad things would happen.'

Kitaira says 'Not yet Sister.'

Jenda lowers the copy of the letter and nods.

Nasira says 'Yes, if I did not follow the instructions then bad things would happen, that's what my brother told me.'

Kitaira stops in front of the Accepted and looks her in the eyes.

Nasira says 'Which I interpreted as if I did not help him, then bad things would happen.'

Nasira says 'I assumed it would mean that he would be put in jail for not repaying his loans, or something along those lines..'

Kitaira says 'So it goes to reason that if you failed this woman, who you thought was an Aes Sedai, your brother would be punished? Seemingly with the consent of this Aes Sedai?'

Nasira says 'I thought my brother would be sent to jail or something along those lines, Kitiara Sedai.'

Nasira says 'Whereas the Aes Sedai could help him with his financial problems and help him to stay out of jail.'

Nasira says 'And if I did not do as instructed, then he would receive no help.'

Nasira says 'Now I fear that consequences for him might be much worse.'

Nasira sobs with grief.

Kitaira says 'Tell me child, why was there no mention of this woman being an Aes Sedai in your first letter? Seemingly an Accepted who was so mortified that she aided the shadow would not forget to mention that she was given instructions by a darkfriend Aes Sedai?'

Kitaira ignores the sobs and waits for a response.

Nasira says 'My first letter was written in a hurry, Kitiara Sedai. And I did not want to explicitly accuse an Aes Sedai of being a darkfriend.'

Jenda says 'Seems a very important detail. '

Nasira says 'I didn't realize at the time that I was in a lot of trouble. I had thought I was just following instructions.'

Nasira says 'Speaking of the..Black Ajah is very hard to do.'

Jenda glares at Nasira.

Kitaira says 'And yet after some time in your cell you decided that not only was this woman an Aes Sedai but also likely the Keeper?'

Kitaira says 'Tell me...'

Nasira says 'I do not know if it was the Keeper Kitiara Sedai.'

Nasira says 'But it is logical that it would be one of the sisters that saw the Dreadlord enter the first time and did not report it.'

Nasira says 'But I could be wrong of course..'

Kitaira says '' This leaves two possibilities: either Lelaine Sedai simply misremembered events or she is intentionally trying to use me as a scapegoat.''

Kitaira says 'That is from your second letter child.'

Nasira says 'That was because Lelaine Sedai stated something that is factually untrue, which I believe to be impossible under the Three Oaths.'

Nasira says 'She said that I met with Mother. Mother can tell you that I never met with her.'

Nasira says 'Mother has not seen me in the past few months to my knowledge. I think she can confirm this.'

Jenda arches an eyebrow.

Kitaira says 'And yet that is a discrepancy in your letters as well... in your first you state you followed the instructed exactly. 'I was told to request an audience with the Amyrlin Seat, to briefly see her, then to depart immediately to the Accepted quarters. I did exactly that,''

Kitaira says 'And now, as in your second letter, you say you did not follow the instructions?'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Nasira says 'I did follow the instructions. I departed immediately.'

Kitaira says 'The instructions per your first letter were to 'briefly see her.''

Nasira says 'I did not do that, Kitiara Sedai.'

Nasira says 'And Mother can confirm this.'

Kitaira says 'Then you did not follow the instructions?'

Nasira says 'I guess I did not follow that part of the instructions, Kitiara Sedai. I did not know what to tell Mother and was too embarassed to see her.'

Nasira says 'Again, Mother can confirm that she never saw me.'

Jenda crosses her arms and shakes her head.

Nasira says 'Both times, I requested an audience, then departed immediately (OOC: quit out)'

Kitaira looks the Accepted up and down a moment before saying, 'One more question, and I advise you to think on it a moment, and feel free to answer it freely...'

Nasira nods in agreement.

Jenda turns her icy gaze towards the accepted, examining her as if she were a rat.

Kitaira says 'If you were in my position and an Accepted twice conspired to allow shadowspawn access to Mother. If the Accepted sent 2 letters with contradictory statements. Sent one letter that left out key information important to the situation only to then include it in the second... An Accepted who claims a Sister, sworn by the oath rod is likely lying... '

Kitaira says 'What would that Accepted have to say to you to convince them they were merely manipulated and not complicit. '

Nasira says 'My letters did not contradict each other. I did not want to accuse an Aes Sedai of being a darkfriend until I was sure that it must be so. I am willing to swear under the Oath Rod that I am not, and never have been a Darkfriend.'

Kitaira holds up her hand

Kitaira says 'Accepted, I understand your objections to my observation, but understand those are the observations to be had... You do not have the right to the Oath Rod. So answer my question... given those facts. What would an Accepted have to say to you, for you to believe her?'

Nasira says 'I would say that what you have heard would be enough, Kitiara Sedai. The idea that an Accepted by herself could scheme successfully to assassinate the Amyrlin is quite ludicrous.'

Nasira says 'The idea that an Accepted is being used as a scapegoat for a much larger scheme is much more plausible, Aes Sedai.'

Nasira says 'Punishing me would only leave the true schemers free to try again with a different scapegoat.'

Jenda laughs softly.

Kitaira tilts her head slightly before saying, 'Child at no point have I or Jenda Sedai suggested you were the mastermind behind this attack.'

Nasira says 'I do deserve punishment for what my actions have caused. But I do not believe they should rise to stilling or removal from the Tower.'

Nasira says 'Because they were done in ignorance.'

Nasira says 'So you do agree, that most likely this came from someone with more power from within the Tower? That I could not have done this alone?'

Jenda says 'We cannot trust a child who is so ignorant as to possibly cause the loss of the amyrlin seat with wielding the one power. '

Nasira says 'Any Accepted must do what an Aes Sedai insructs her to do.'

Kitaira Looks at Jenda and says, 'Sister.'

Nasira says 'That is what I thought I was doing.'

Jenda simply shakes her head with a smirk.

Nasira says 'It has not been explained to me why, after the first attempt on Mother's life, did Lelaine Sedai and the other sisters guarding her chambers not notify anyone of the attempt.'

Nasira says 'If I were you, as you ask, this would be much more disturbing to me and evidence of a larger conspiracy.'

Kitaira says 'You are not in a position for anything to be explained to you.'

Kitaira says 'But to address your previously comment....'

Nasira says 'You did ask what I would think in your position, Kitiara Sedai.'

Kitaira nods before continuing.

Kitaira says 'I do agree that this plan likely came from someone with more power. Whether or not inside the Tower will be an important matter.'

Kitaira says 'Anything else to say in your defense child?'

Jenda nods at Kitaira.

Nasira says 'It was definitely at least partially from within the Tower, Kitiara Sedai, as the woman met me in the Tower itself.'

Kitaira says 'Oh? An interesting detail to leave out child. '

Nasira says 'I would like to say that I am extremely distraught that my actions led to the attempt on Mother's life.'

Nasira says 'I thought that was implied, Kitiara Sedai as I rarely leave the Tower.'

Kitaira says 'Yet again in the moment more details come to light. Please elaborate as to the when and where of this meeting?'

Nasira says 'As an Accepted, I almost always stay in the Tower.'

Nasira says 'I was approached when I was leaving the Accepted quarters.'

Kitaira nods in understanding

Kitaira says 'Any additional details to share child?'

Nasira shakes her head.

Nasira says 'I would just like to say, that in hindsight my actions were horrible.'

Kitaira says 'Sister do you have any other questions?'

Nasira says 'But hindsight is perfect, as they say.'

Jenda says 'No. I do not. I feel sullied by simply being in this one's presence. '

Nasira says 'In the moment, the orders from the Aes Sedai seemed strange, but not unreasonable.'

Jenda says 'I'm done with her. '

Nasira says 'I had no reason to believe that hte Shadow was involved in any way..the Shadow!'

Kitaira says 'Child, that is quite enough.'

Nasira says 'My only encounter with the Shadow has been on the battlefield. I could never have dreamed of darkfriends in the Tower.'

Nasira says 'Sorry Kitiara Sedai, you asked if I had anything else to say.'

Jenda nods in agreement.

Kitaira says 'I asked for additional details and you shook your head, if you are referring to my previous allowance for you to speak in your defense than that is fine I suppose. Continue. '

Nasira says 'Yes, that is what I was referring to, Kitiara Sedai.'

Nasira says 'I apologize for the damage my actions have caused, but in deciding my punishment please remember that in the moment, they did not seem to be harmful actions at all.'

Nasira says 'I was simply instructed by who I thought to be an Aes SEdai to request an audience.'

Kitaira thinks on the idea for a moment.

Nasira says 'I obviousy have a lot still to learn, and would desperately like to learn in the Tower.'

Jenda says 'Imagine if this gullible thing used the One Power at the behest of some blackmailer. '

Jenda smirks towards Kitiara.

Nasira says 'I hope the Sitters will see that I could not have done this alone and am an unwitting pawn in this sceme.'

Nasira says 'In this scheme, sorry.'

Kitaira says 'Child, if a man lights a fire that burns down a village and kills a family... does it matter whether he intended to set the fire?'

Nasira says 'I believe that intent certainly does matter, Kitiara Sedai.'

Kitaira says 'And in such scenario, most places would have the man hang... you would not?'

Nasira says 'I do not know, Kitiara Sedai, I have not judged such situations before.'

Nasira says 'I do know that in most trials, intent is very important in deciding punishment.'

Nasira says 'And in this case, Mother defended her life and from what I understand the Dreadlord was slain.'

Kitaira says 'You seem confident in what you know for having admitted your lack of experience. '

Jenda begins examining her hair for split ends, clearly uninterested in the girl's pleas.

Nasira says 'I have spent a great deal of time in the Tower library, Kitiara Sedai.'

Kitaira says 'Indeed. Anything else to say?'

Nasira says 'At the end of the day, it seems that no-one was really hurt by my actions'

Nasira says 'The'

Nasira says 'And we have uncovered a conspiracy that must be investigated in the Tower.'

Jenda glares at Nasira.

Nasira says 'The better analogy is that a man sets a fire by accident, and people found the fire, and put it out, and now you want to hang the man.'

Nasira says 'Because the village could have burned to the ground and killed everyone if they hadn't found the fire.'

Nasira says 'But it didn't burn.'

Nasira says 'And no-one would hang that man.'

Kitaira looks at the child, waiting for her to be finished.

Nasira says 'I am finished, Kitiara Sedia.'

Jenda says 'Child. A Dreadlord was able to access the Amyrlin Bloody Seat. '

Jenda growls menacingly.

Jenda says 'How can you be so cavalier. '

Nasira says 'And Mother, in all of her power, put the foul Dreadlord down.'

Jenda says 'Kitiara, Sister. I am through with this girl. '

Kitaira says 'If there are any further questions we will reach out to you, expect it will take some time to finish the investigation. '

Jenda bangs on the cell door for the guard to unlock it.

Nasira says 'I am not being cavalier, I am explaining why Kitiara Sedai's analogy was not adequate.'

Nasira says 'Thank you, Aes Sedai, and I understand that it will take time. I will be here in my cell.'

Kitaira says 'Child do not go to sleep just yet.' -I WAS INTENDING TO GIVE HER AN ACCEPTEDS DRESS HOWEVER THE ROOM IS QUIT ONLY

Nasira says 'If at all possible to find out what happened to my brother, I would really appreciate it.'

Nasira bursts into tears.

The following are hereby submitted to the secret records of the White Tower. It contains discussions, interrogations and sentencing of the Darkfriend Nasira.

This girl was accused and found guilty of helping Shadowspawn into the Amyrlins Seat chambers.



Kitiara Sedai, Sitter for the Blue, approaches the Yellow Ajah Sitters Jenda and Etain to discuss the matter of Accepted Nasira. Jenda is militant in wanting the girl burned but Kitiara explains that we must explore the possibility of her true ignorance and what that would entail. The 3 of them mostly agree tha putting the girl out of the Tower and stilling her would be the likely punishment IF the girl was merely ignorant, but all 3 sitters do seemingly believe the girl to be a darkfriend.

Etain greets Kitiara with a light kiss on the cheek.

Kitiara says 'Oh, it did not kick me out, how interesting...'

Jenda says 'Well good evening, Kitiara. '

Jenda says 'To what do we owe the pleasure. '

Kitiara says 'I thought now would be a prudent time to discuss the Accepted.'

Jenda's mouth curls in a sneer, "I only care that every darkfriend burns. What about her?"

Kitiara says 'Indeed, however she is just a girl... and there is the possibility that she did not know she was assisting the Shadow... the question is... assuming her ignorance, what would we do with her.'

Jenda smirks.

Etain frowns thoughtfully.

Jenda reply coldly, stroking her hair, "Still her. And burn her. I do not buy her story of "helping" some shadowy figure who is asking for access to the Amyrlin Seat. And I know that you do not, either."

Kitiara paces around the room a bit, looking at this and that.

Jenda turns her tilted eyes to Kitiara as she paces.

Etain says 'If she will submit, I would suggest questioning her on her story. It may be a slim hope, but it might be possible to catch her in a lie on interrogation.'

Kitiara says 'Right... but indulge me Sister. If her story held true...'

Jenda growls softly. "Then at the very least she should be Farmed. ... " Jenda smirks, " should her story hold true."

Kitiara stops a moment and looks from Etain to Jenda before saying, 'I have been at the head of too many unpopular matters of Justice... while in this case I do believe the evidence seems damning... I cannot help but explore all options and ramifications.

Jenda says 'Sister please trust me. I have engaged with darkfriend after darkfriend. My own mentor betrayed us. I know this is more ... instinct than evidence. but they will twist you. This is their whole being. Twisting and lying. turning us against each other. '

Jenda says 'I am of course willing to work with you. '

Kitiara stops and locks eyes with Jenda, 'I rescued Siuan from another world, she comes from the Blue and this girls actions lead nearly to her death. I will not be twisted by an Accepted.'

Jenda looks at Etain.

Jenda grins at Kitiara.

Kitiara says 'But nor will I subvert Tower Law. '

Kitiara says 'We must do our due diligence in this, so that what will likely happen is truly the only option yes?'

Jenda tsks. "What is law compared to eradicating those who would destroy and warp law. But.. I will work with you, of course. I am your servant."

Etain says 'If I may...'

Jenda nods at Etain.

Kitiara looks at Etain.

Jenda irritably tugs at her hair, glaring at Etain.

Etain says 'By her own words, Nasira is undoubtedly guilty of conspiring with figures whose intentions were obviously not honorable. That alone warrants her expulsion from the Tower. Having said that, this is a question of life and death, and we of the Tower represent justice and the Light. I tend to agree that we should do our due diligence.'

Etain says 'But.'

Etain says 'If, when it is done, she is proven to be a Darkfriend, I would link with the circle that stills her myself, and watch without flinching as she faces the headsman.'

Jenda pauses, lifts her chin arrogantly while still glaring at her fellow Yellow. After a moment, she nods.

Kitiara says 'Assuming her actions were unintentional, if we put her out of the Tower we potentially deliver a trained Accepted to the Dark One... clearly they have reached her before... what will stop them again?'

Jenda says 'Then my origional thoughts would apply. Still her. And Burn the darkfriend. This kindness has gone on too much. Kaishia. Chrissy. Caitlyn. Cenae. How many more I cannot even name. '

Kitiara says 'Still her in the least I would think... I do not believe the Dark One can fix that... '

Kitiara frowns.

Jenda turns away, hiding anger no Aes Sedai should exhibit, and says softly, "I would rather see the whole Tower burn than another Darkfriend sully our ranks."

Jenda says 'Don't forget, Kitiara. There are Darkfriends who cannot channel. '

Kitiara says 'I am less concerned with a girl and her stick than I am a trained Accepted. A girl with a stick can be... dealt with easier... and easier to keep track of after she leaves.. '

Kitiara says 'What of the girls suggestion... that she swear on the oath rod before giving her testimony?'

Etain toys with the ends of a long white ribbon braided about her arm.

Jenda says 'I have done this very thing with Caitlyn. The Oaths only over writes the Oaths. She can turn again to the Darkness. '

Jenda says 'It is a ruse. '

Jenda says 'What cycle is this? Swear every week? '

Jenda says 'We all know she has let her fade lover in to attack the Mother. Get her confession and we'll be rid of another blight on our White Tower. '

Jenda spits over her shoulder.

Kitiara says 'Good, I thought the idea unnecessary, her own words condemn her. And I imagine they will continue to do so as we Sitters get a chance to question her. '

Jenda nods at Kitiara.

Jenda says 'If she ever comes back. '

Etain says 'The question we have to ask ourselves is, how far -can- we go? Expulsion is surely warranted, stilling may well be, but would it be just to execute a girl for an involuntary crime?'

Kitiara says 'IF we believe she was ignorant... I do not believe I could stand for her execution... however unlikely that belief is to hold... '

Jenda says 'As for me, I do feel it was purposeful. We do not advance girls to the rank of Accepted if they are foolish and ignorant. '

Etain nods at Jenda.

Jenda says 'If that were the case, the woman who advanced her would be indicted. '

Kitiara scoffs a bit at that.

Kitiara says 'If we start blaming Aes Sedai for every weak Accepted we will have quite the problem on our hands... '

Jenda breaths deeply and acquiesces. "You are right, Sister."

Etain says 'Even the wisest may act foolishly under the right circumstances. Forgive me for playing the Dark One's advocate, but I think we must be certain. I believe that Nasira is guilty, but I also believe that we owe it to ourselves to consider the possibilities.'

Kitiara says 'It is good we could talk, the Blue is as skeptical of this story as everyone else, but it is in our nature to explore the possibilities.'

Jenda says 'But do not forget. take in the capacity for these darkfriends to lie and manipulate. We have trained this girl in our ways for years and we skirt the Oaths expertly. Remember that. '

Kitiara nods at Etain.

Jenda nods in agreement.

Kitiara says 'Do we?'

Kitiara grins wryly.

Jenda says 'Why wouldn't we? '

Jenda says 'It's how kings and princes kneel to us. '

Etain says 'Pardon me, I will return in a moment.'

A thickdoor swings inwards.

Etain leaves west.

Jenda smirks darkly.

Kitiara says 'It was good we can talk... I look forward to your reports when you speak with the girl. I will be proposing that any conversations with her be shared with the Hall.'

Someone knocks on the thickdoor from the other side.

The thickdoor is opened from the other side.

Etain has arrived from the west.

The thickdoor closes quietly.

Jenda nods in agreement.

Kitiara tilts her head respectfully to each of her fellow Sitters.

Kitiara says 'If you would allow me to exit?'
