The street is crowded with wagons, packed so tightly that there is barely enough room for a single cart to pass by, let alone allow two way traffic. A fanciful facade rises above the north side of the road, proclaimed as the Lord's Companion, the meaning of which is displayed by the women who call from the upstairs windows at all hours of the day. To the east there seem to be some indications of life as there appears to be some trees and buildings in the distance. To the west the road continues into the flatlands between Whitebridge and Caemlyn. South the trail continues around a smaller mountain. A few hawks wheel and dive higher up in the sky. The path curves to the south and to the east, but with the dust it is hard to see very far in either direction. The region to the east is similar to this one, and there are rocks protruding into the air further on. The south is also similar with the plateau blocking the east. Dry Grasslands The dry soil here is held together by the roots of the grass that grow here. The grass itself comes up to your thighs and briars on the brush tug at you. Dry winds scour the grass and hit you from every direction. A road meanders its way to the north and yet more grass covered plains extend to the south. The waist high grass, animated by the wind, whips against your legs and prevent you from moving faster. The little grass that grows here only grows to your ankles and is loosely attached to the topsoil. The soil itself is mainly bits of rock. Negotiating the land takes less effort than the rest of these plains. You view to the south is dominated by a small hill. The topsoil here consists mainly of small pieces of rock unsuited to growing plants. The grass and brush here comes up to your thighs and is quite dense, but the ground supplies sure footing and dust is prevented from becoming airborne. There is and entrance to a dark cave on the face of the hill to the, south while grasslands dominate your view in the other directions. [ obvious exits: N E S W U ] * HP:Beaten SP:Good MV:Winded > e Inside a Hill This large cave is littered with the bones of animals, both large and small, and half eaten fruits and other plants. The air is very humid and has a slight mustiness to it. The cave extends further to the east, west, and south, but it is too dark to see what lies in those areas. Piles of bone and decaying pantslife almost cover the dirt floor completely. The piles of decaying plants are filled with maggots and worms and give off an overwhelmingly rancid smell.
