Always good to get some straight up 1-on-1 like that, especially when it goes down to the line About the dagger, I was just trying to bugger off home basically, and I needed moves. There was almost no point fighting south of Maradon there, Jaegar's notice was working 100% (ie first time, every time) and even if I did hurt him he coulda run easily. By removing the dagger, I was trying to show Jaegar that chasing me was pointless (like, he had no horse, had to chase with notice on, and now there was no chance of disarming). But he did chase, and then the fight pretty much started around Kandor, when I had a chance at winning. And yeah, I was trying slimy tactics galore, yet he kept countering every one of them (ie the doorclosing at the underground Saldaeans, making him burn moves, and trying to use mobs in Kandor, which backfired, etc etc).
