So this is what humanside sounds like! Zork Joined: Feb 01, 2001 From: Boston, MA Posted: 2002-06-09 22:09 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm sorry, I just thought this was just *precious* Mesa narrates 'on 4e' <-- They're on! * Press to continue, q to quit *> Mesa narrates 'COme' <--- Maybe they didn't hear me! * Press to continue, q to quit *> Dobain narrates 'on 4e' <-- Let's say it again! * Press to continue, q to quit *> Dobain narrates 'come' <-- Ahh, ritualistic chanting! * Press to continue, q to quit *> Dorien narrates 'come 4e' <-- 1 more go! * R HP:Healthy MV:Fresh > Drafen narrates 'omw' * R HP:Healthy MV:Fresh > Mesa narrates 'blind all' <-- Even numbers! We can't beat that! * R HP:Healthy MV:Fresh > Mesa narrates 'now' * R HP:Healthy MV:Fresh > Mesa narrates 'block' <--- Wow, they're blind, let's see if they even know how to run blind. * R HP:Healthy MV:Fresh > Mesa narrates 'blind' <-- we caught one, not sure if he's blind yet, let's blind again! * R HP:Healthy MV:Fresh > Drafen narrates 'they aren't 4e anymore...*sniff*' <-- htf am i supposed to block if they aren't here anymore! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wallace Joined: Jun 11, 2000 Posted: 2002-06-09 22:12 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You narrate 'mesa has a 2 word vocabulary' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dorien Joined: Nov 29, 2000 Posted: 2002-06-09 22:20 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and it's not different darkside? I guess they can't ask for blind. Bashers bash, channelers channel. It's the non-bashers' / non-channelers duty to keep track of pk, to resc hurting people etc. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nak Joined: Oct 28, 2001 Posted: 2002-06-09 22:27 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- no doesnt really sound like darkside at all.. on darkside we dont tend to narrate 'come' when we've got numbers, and we dont normally have to tell bashers to bash if you're playing darkside you pretty much know you're job (cept for some of the newer pukish like trollocs). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dorien Joined: Nov 29, 2000 Posted: 2002-06-09 23:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually, not sure what the numbers were like.. it was close, could have gone either way. The thing is, it was at 4e. When you're human and fighting 4e, you don't want to lose. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wallace Joined: Jun 11, 2000 Posted: 2002-06-09 23:10 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lose and over kill are 2 different things -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dorien Joined: Nov 29, 2000 Posted: 2002-06-09 23:41 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, in the preceding 15 minutes, we'd spotted 15 named trollocs (I was counting them, following the walk into the room with linkless Davor and 9 named trollocs), Track, Dagre, and Mangler. We had a total of about 9, at least some were almost naked. If we didn't bring the second group, you think we would have won? I fail to see the overkill. Actually, we were just getting our numbers there before the opponents did.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dorien Joined: Nov 29, 2000 Posted: 2002-06-09 23:47 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And Nak, I almost believed you when you said darkside doesn't narrate when you have numbers, truly I did.. NOT. Some people darkside don't, some people lightside don't. But I play darkside too, don't give me that kinda **** and expect me to believe it -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reaver Joined: Feb 24, 2002 Posted: 2002-06-10 00:58 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heh, at least we didn't kill him LD. It was discussed throughly, and was decided we would wait till he gained his link again (about 10 minutes later might I add ) and when he did, we pounded him good. The whole day's PK was pretty ****ty all in all, really. Whatcha gunna do. [Edit] Thank you for that analysis, Zork, I got a good laugh outta it [ This Mail was edited by: Reaver on 2002-06-10 00:59 ] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slaydak Joined: Jul 08, 1998 Posted: 2002-06-10 01:21 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was statting pukes for much of the time when humans had 10-15-20 people controlling blight.... just hilarious stuff... Someone narrated Rip newbie and there were at least 10 serious 'nice! woot! and yah!' cheers. All the rest of the kills (which came like once an hour) you knew were 15 vs 1 yet people were no less excited.. pathetic... You can argue that pukes die alone to big groups but you wont see a group of 10 trollocs sitting outside caemlyn for 5 hours just waiting for a solo person to scout so they can gangpile. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nirhan Joined: Mar 19, 2001 From: Portland, OR Posted: 2002-06-10 05:24 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- thats because if trolls sat outside caemlyn for 5 hours killing solo pukes pukes would stop leaving the city. we have fun sitting ccs and bsing with each other.
