Then Elrad (Leader of Group 2) says "go ahead and gate". Then one trolloc hits...gets run off...and then Mel says she's gating. I don't see anywhere where someone ran out. Frankly it looked like you guys were still ok until you all hit as soon as Mel's group came back. You didn't have it organized. You were on the trolls and the groups were separated. Why you hit then, I don't know. If you'd given it time to get organized you would have all been on at the same time. There were mistakes made in several places there and I don't think Mel was to blame. You also had two gating channies...one in each group. And an acknowledged leader in one group said she was gating before she did. No one said anything about it then? Has anyone ever heard of gate 'follow'? You don't need a code. How the heck was she supposed to know that the 2nd group couldn't get out? Then what happened when she got back was just a farce...and not due to her in any way that I can see. And what this log doesn't contain is the succession of rants and flames that Tarn then proceeds to go through over narrates right after. I can point to a number of leaders easily that have frequently shafted their followers, killed off groups, and ran off to protect their own gear at the expense of their people. I don't see that happening here by any stretch, nor do I see the wisdom in blaming a consistent good leader for everything that happened here. What you may not realize, Tarn, is that when you lose your temper over gear and exp...you can really hurt someone. Not to mention sound like a spoiled child. I had lower than travel sps when Melyssan gated ger group out, and I was talking to others so I didn't see anything about her leaving. Also, I had died three times in a row about 4 days prior, and didn't feel it a major priority to get gatecodes back. Thus you see a discussion in there about randigating, but Melyssan said she was coming back. Given there was only about 11 inside fortress, with Melyssan's group we could've decimated them. When we heard "ON!", we thought it would be safe to assume they were on outside where they left us, I mean, nothing else would be logical, right?
